FirstBarkDog Lovers Obedience School really helped our rescue dog Charlotte gain confidence to help her adjust to her new home. More importantly, they helped our family gain the confidence and the tools to give our dog a better home life. Charlotte is always welcomed for refreshers and socialization which is so appreciated!

Can’t recommend this place enough! The group classes are great as well as we did a week board and train with Jess who is absolutely amazing! We struggled with basic obedience and training but after attending group classes and a week with Jess our dog has done a complete 180! We are sooo happy with the results!

We love Dog Lovers and how much they’ve helped our Poppy grow into a good girl! The group classes are great for her socialization, and the instruction is clear and delivers results quickly. I especially love how the entire family can join, and our young kids are encouraged to train her during the lessons. It is so sweet and encouraging how the school celebrates the dogs and families when they graduate to the next level class. Emily has also come to our home for training and helped us reinforce the lessons learned in class and how to adapt them to our dog and home environment. We also love half day dropoffs for our busier days and feel at ease knowing Poppy is safe, taken care of, and learning throughout the entirety of her stay. She comes home happily tired and with improvement in a specific issue or having learned a new skill. DLOS is not a quick fix, and owners are expected to do their homework and that’s part of why I think their program works so well. Poppy is still a puppy but she has made tremendous progress in her behavior and training, and I know it will only continue from here. Dog Lovers has strengthened the bond between our family and Poppy, and we are so thankful to this school!

Several months ago, our rescue dog, Lily, joined our family. We knew she needed some structure and we needed help with her manners and listening to us. Thankfully, our friend referred us to Dog Lover's Obedience School! Lily completed beginner and intermediate classes with flying colors. She loves all the trainers, especially her favorite, Jess Cagnina! She is a sweet, funny, very food motivated girl and very smart and Jess "got her" right away. Recently Lily completed a 1-week board and train with Jess and she has come home to us like a "new and improved" dog! (Jess sent videos, photos and texts daily of Lily's progress and the "why" of some of the things she was working on with her.) She also sent a small printed packet for us to refer to now that she's home. We are so pleased with the work Jess did and we are following OUR instructions, too, now that we have Lily home. (She--and we--are doing beautifully)
