Joe and her team are really great! Our dog is now 2+ years old. During the first year my Wife was honestly ready to put her up for adoption. With Joe's help with both the dog AND us we could not be happier. Jackie is truly part of our Family and is for the most part VERY well behaved. Joe taught us simple ways to keep our Dog in check and to learn to respect us. I would highly recommend their services. We still check in from time to time with questions and services and have always been treated very well. Thank you Joe for helping us have a Dog that we will love and cherish all of her life.

One of our four dogs had attacked our other dog unprovoked twice in two weeks and was starting to be aggressive around certain objects. We called a friend and she referred us to the owner of Western States. We called, left a message and within 20-30 minutes she called us back. We explained our situation and immediately we were given advice on what to do with our overly aggressive dog. Within a few days we had our first introduction with Jo. Afterwards we received a detailed plan on what we could expect over the next few weeks. Jo has since been back and we have only experienced one more aggressive act, (which was completely my fault). Our dogs are much more mellow and are getting along great. I would recommend Western States to anyone who needs help with their dogs.

Not worth you or your pets time. We were treated best by an assistant trainer who had only attended a few of our classes. When we expressed our concerns with our main trainer and class, we received a very rude response back from the owner of the company - they do not believe in "the customer is always right". We decided not to finish the class because we felt we were wasting our time and that our dog was being treated unfairly nor did we agree with their training methods. We love our dog and want what is best for him. We felt he took more then "two steps back" after this class.

Joe and her staff have given a new life to my son when they found and trained a service dog for him. Their caring, concern and expertise are incredible. Our beautiful dog is still in training, and they go above and beyond to work around our schedule and our son's needs. I'm so excited for the dog and the boy! I've seen the results on other dogs they've worked with, and they have a "dog whisperer" way with animals!
