Dog Training 360

We were introduced to Joe and the rest of the Western States K-9 College staff when one of our rescue dogs was causing some concerns at his doggie day care center. Joe came to our house and worked with us and both of our dogs to help manage the bad behavior but still allow the unique personalities of each dog shine through. We were able to manage the bad behavior quickly and now there are no issues when they need to go to day-care which is a relief. We have continued to work with WSK9 on a regular basis with walk-trains that Jax looks forward to so much - and he has even made a girl friend with one of the other 'walkers' in the group. The complete and yet flexible services and advice that WSK9 provides is wonderful - even for folks who have had dogs for 20+ years; there is always something new to learn! We have, and will continue, to recommend them to all pet parents.

Our family can't say enough about Western States K-9 College. Joe and WSK9 was recommended to us by our vet who also had a great experience. One of our older dogs had begun fighting with our newly adopted six month old puppy after initially getting along for the first few months. We were distraught thinking that we may have to give our puppy away. Joe came out the day after we contacted her and evaluated the situation. She assured us that she thought it was very fixable, and set up a training program. She was wonderful to work with, and the dogs were quickly able to be around each other and now even play together. We have also decided to continue the "walk and train" sessions with our puppy to help develop good lifelong habits. We have learned and benefited from Joe's calm disposition and from her vast knowledge of dogs and their behavior, and it has made us better owners. We are very grateful!

I have had a WONDERFUL Experience with Joe & Western States k9! I asked to get in for a appointment to have a Behavior Consult, and they got me for an appointment in a timely manner I didn't need to wait really at all. And because my husband and I just adopted a New puppy we needed some help and advice on how to deal with my current older house dog. My husband and I were REALLY stressed and concerned it wouldn't work out with the new puppy! But when Joe came over and explained the situation and how dogs really think and what their perspective was, it all made COMPLETE sense. I actually began to see "light at the end of the tunnel"! With her guidelines, expertise, and explanations I have seen a tremendous change in both dogs!! Its a big relief and so much more settling! I would strongly encourage you as a new pet owner or old pet owner that needs some additional help for training or even to just understand your pet better to contact her!! 5 stars!

I LOVE Western States K9 College! My husband and I took the group puppy class with our French Bulldog Louis. Everything we learned in the class made a HUGE difference in raising our tiny puppy! Everything from basic training to correcting problem behaviors was addressed by Joe in this class. Our shy puppy really came out of his shell during the group socialization time. Raising a puppy can be difficult but the skills we learned in this class not only made puppy training easier but also helped us strengthen our puppy-human bond. I recommend this class to every person and puppy I see! I will definitely sign up again whenever I get a new puppy :)
