By the time we called Robert, we were feeling a bit exasperated. As new, first-time puppy parents, there were so many unexpected things about having a pup that we hadn’t anticipated (and yes, we'd read books and watched plenty of videos before we brought our baby home). Robert was incredibly professional, and took his time to make sure he answered all of my questions and got to know our pup's personality. He was reassuring, kind, and by the end of the session, had imbued me with a sense of confidence I'd previously been lacking. He not only gave me tips, tricks, and ideas on how to interact with and train our puppy, but he reassured me that what we were going through was totally normal, that our pup would be well-adjusted, and that we were doing a good job. Sometimes you just need someone to hold your hand through the process a little bit, and Robert was kind enough to do that. It's also clear he has a ton of experience in dealing with a variety of dog personality types. Moreover he had a calm but commanding presence and my dog took to him instantly and was eager to learn from him. I'm so glad we made the decision to hire Robert and we're looking forward to future sessions with him as we continue to learn how to be good parents to our pup.
Jenny was a wonderful trainer. She helped us with leash skills and other basic manners. Her guidance was clear and easy to follow.

I don’t think my pup had seen a squirrel in her life so would just freeze every time. Jenny showed me techniques to get my pup’s attention and taught her the basics again. Her calm demeanor and skills really made a difference. I highly recommend her!
