DOGMAN Training

William did an awesome job working with us and our dog Coco. We didn't really know how to handle a Husky/Blue Heeler mix and all her energy, but he gave us the tools and training we needed to be successful. Before training with William, Coco would drag us during walks, jump all over us and any visitors when we would come home, and she would only respond to commands when she wanted. Now even the kids can walk her with ease, Coco is able to calm herself down, greet without jumping, and she responds to commands when given. We were able to go from living our life around the dog, to the dog knowing that we are in charge. The best part is this was all done with positive affirmation (No shock collars or anything like that). There is something intangible about the way DOGMAN interacts with dogs. Our family had never had a dog, and William was the BEST! He involved all the children during our training sessions and ensured each of us felt confident in our skills and understood why we were training him a certain way. Now we send our dog to daycare with William a few times a week and board him when necessary. We are so thankful to have his continued guidance. DOGMAN has my highest recommendation!

Our baby arrived in April and we wanted her to be trained. We were referred to Dogman during a gala we had attended. After contacting him, we set up a schedule that was convenient for us. Upon our first meeting, Dogman was very enthusiastic and welcoming toward our puppy. She was already able to sit, come, and touch by the time our lesson was over. He has a way with dogs that truly resonated with us. He's kind, gentle and compassionate. Jumi, our baby, has been doing amazing after our lessons with him. She still responds to all the commands we learnt from Dogman. If you are in doubt and out of your wits with your paw family, Dogman Training should be your first contact. Highly recommend training with William. I adopted a dog earlier this year who ended up having intense reactivity to people/dogs/sounds/etc. I was on the verge of tears multiple times during the first few weeks because it was so frustrating, so I decided I needed to hire a professional trainer. I’ve had dogs my entire life but I never had a reactive dog like this. William helped me learn how to implement more structure (place, threshold manners, etc) and establish clearer leadership with my pup through positive reinforcement. Shadow is now 11 months old and I recently thought to myself “if he doesn’t get any better than this, this is good enough”. That is a HUGE change from how I felt before working with William! I put in the work, but William gave me the tools and feedback that I needed to be successful. Very appreciative and definitely recommend.
