DOGMAN Training

Neither my husband nor I grew up with a dog, so getting a puppy was a bit overwhelming. Working with William at DOGMAN Training gave us the tools and confidence to feel prepared for our new family member. We are still in awe how when William sees Delilah, she behaves so well! His clear instruction, knowledge of dog psychology and family dynamics makes for a good and healthy recipe that leaves all of us satisfied! We have lots of work to do, but the tools we have gained in our time with William and are continuing to implement, we are even more in love with our puppy than we ever though we could be!

I have two energetic, curious goldendoodles (2 years & 8 months) who were as happy as could be running the show. They had two speeds: zero or 1000 mph! There was no in between and it was almost impossible to make time to get things done or just sit down and relax. I called William and he came to the rescue! William taught me how to appropriately cue and reinforce the manners and behaviors I expect from them (like sitting calmly, walking nicely, coming when called). By practicing what William taught during our lessons the doodles started shifting their behaviors on their own. They have learned to self regulate in situations that they didn’t know how to before, they’ve learned to make decisions leading to a calm environment which has restored the peace in my home! My five month old puppy and I just completed our fifth at home training session with William, and it was an invaluable experience. I am really glad that we worked with him. My puppy, Snowy, absolutely adores him, as does my more aloof senior dog. In addition to all the helpful basic training, William tailors his training to your situation and needs and your specific dog or dogs and their behaviors. He is knowledgeable about all the different dog products out there, and his advice was really helpful in picking out her grown up dog crate, dog cot, collar, training aids, etc. I didn't waste money on things that didn't fit or were poorly made or useless. Both of my dogs are calmer and more obedient from their sessions with William, and I am a wiser dog owner from the training. I highly recommend William's gentle dog training methods for any dog, from a young puppy to an older dog with behavioral issues.
