Dognify

My dog Junebug is a super-high-energy cattle dog mix living in the city. I tried everything I could think of to tire her out before I found Dognify. She now joins pack runs on the Schuylkill River three days a week and these activities have been transformative for her. She loves the runs and her fellow dogs, and she even gets excited when she sees her favorite runners. She comes home after the runs and immediately passes out for at least 7 hours. The runs have not only helped her let out her boundless energy, her time with the pack has let her become a more confident dog overall. She was abandoned at a very young age and when I adopted her she was scared of everything. She wouldn't even make it five feet into a walk before something (a stranger, a bicycle, a leaf) spooked her and she'd skitter back inside. We managed to slowly work through a lot of her fear, but her progress really exploded once she met the Dognify pack. She has only been running with them since March but in that time she has grown way more confident while meeting strangers and dogs out in public. She is less fearful of new situations, and I truly believe that she has watched the Dognify dogs and learned from them that the world is not as scary as she thought it was.

Jonathan and everyone at Dognify were absolute marvels with our dog, Layla. They not only knew how to communicate and work with us, but work with and communicate directly with Layla - a whole cornerstone of Dognify's philosophy is getting on the dog's level of communication and understanding, and that showed in every step of Layla's training process. Jonathan especially was the first person that Layla truly felt comfortable with (outside of people directly in her household). They really know how to talk Layla's talk, and walk Layla's walk!
