Dogs by Andy has truly changed our lives and completely transformed my baby boy into an entirely different dog. “Well-behaved” doesn’t even begin to describe him now — he is obedient, loving, calm, and truly the perfect angel. Not only did they help transform him, but they also helped us become better, more knowledgeable dog owners. Honestly, they saved me from having to rehome my dog, and for that I will forever be grateful. If you are debating whether or not to use Dogs by Andy, stop thinking about it and just do it. It is truly LIFE-CHANGING. The 3-week in-house program was absolutely top-notch, and I already plan on sending my other dogs there as well. Every single trainer is amazing, and the entire staff is incredible. From the moment you walk through the doors, both you and your pup are treated with so much care and professionalism. I don't even know where to begin with this place and all the wonderful people who literally change your life with your dog! After an extensive search for the right training facility and being told by most that you can't really train a Great Pyrenees, Dogs by Andy agreed to evaluate him (they won't waste your time and money, ever) and voila-he was accepted into their program. From the very first session, I saw the changes-both in my dog and myself. Now, nearly 8 months later, I have a dog I can take anywhere with confidence. I was so upset after his graduation that we are now going back twice a month for refreshers. Even his vet tech recently said, "wow, you've done a lot of work with him-he's perfect!" Can't recommend this place enough! Lauren, who runs the place where the magic happens, will go to the ends of the earth to help you out in any way and Taz, Harry's trainer, is not only the trainer who makes the difference, but a compassionate, encouraging voice when you most need it. And I can't forget Eric, another trainer there, who would drop everything he was doing to embrace Harry every time he walked through the door. Dogs by Andy has opened up a whole new world for us and we couldn't be more thankful! We LOVE them!

Hot diggity dog! Hands down, the BEST experience. We completed NePoPo training and have the most well trained dog imaginable at only 1 year old. Our dogs recall, off leash ability, demeanor in public, and advanced abilities are uncanny. Eriq, Lauren, Andy…. Y'all feel like family and have always treated us with kindness, professionalism, and a safe atmosphere for training. If anyone has questions on our experience, I am happy to answer anything. And for the “one star” reviews out there… they’ve never even trained their dog here and safety is by far the number 1 priority at this facility. When we get a second dog, you know we will Be back!

Impossible for us to share exactly how thankful we are that Dogs by Andy came into our lives. We have developed a relationship with our dog that goes much beyond a normal pet/owner relationship due to the time and communication techniques we have learned during our time going through the marker program. We have a healthy, happy dog that is able to go everywhere with us and do anything we would like to do as a family as she is a confident and attentive dog. Before we started I asked if my dog would ever get to the point of being off leash 50 yards away and then just call her back to come. Andy laughed and said no problem. I was blown away at the thought. Well, here we are less then 7 months later and my dog can be put in a down, I walk away 50 yards, other dogs come up to lick her face, little kids pet her, and other people try to lure her with treats and she will not move until I release her and she'll come running. That isn't even by far the most impressive thing she does, hence Andy's initial chuckle. Eric is our trainer. He is an expert in his profession and has always been able to very quickly assess any questions that we had and was able to quickly and effectively explain then demonstrate how to work on whatever tasks we were asking. Training the humans in the marker training is the priority over training the dog and he has done an exceptional job getting us to understand the theory and logic behind the trainings which then empowered us to work effectively with our dog. The whole team, everyone in the building, feels like family. We genuinely enjoy our hour trip up to Mooresville just to see everyone and go to a session, even if the pup doesn't really have too much to work on that day. Andy himself, this guys resume should talk for itself. Andy is a world class dog trainer. Aside from that fact, Andy is a pretty amazing person himself and someone I am glad I have gotten to meet. He takes dog safety very seriously while not taking life too seriously. HIGHLY RECOMMEND: sign up for at least an assessment and demo. It was the most entertaining hour of my year. Andy demonstrating what dogs can learn is nothing short of absolutely fascinating. Whole heartedly, we got more out of this experience then we ever could have dreamt for. Thank you
