Scott was a great help for me with my pitt mix rescue. She had a lot of leash reactivity (mostly to other dogs and skateboarders) and some social anxieties. I worked using the freedom program with Scott and she is really a new pup. Walks are enjoyable, she is much more confident and comfortable in new situations. I can walk her off leash and trust her completely that she will stay right by me and won't chase after anything without my say so. She can still be a little shy, but her recovery time is so much faster than it ever was, and she learns to more quickly trust new situations. Overall I can't recommend Scott highly enough.

I can super highly recommend Scott and Suzy at Dogs by Dancer. They are thoughtful and professional and my dog loves Scott and is always so excited to see him. I had such a great experience, I am going to send our other dog to Scott. Scott clearly cares about the dogs, is proactive with outreach and has also followed up regularly to see how my dog, Taco, is doing post-training. Taco had several behavioral issues and is so much better, calmer and more confident after his board and train. The follow up group classes are such huge bonus. If you are looking for effective and professional training by someone who clearly loves dogs, Scott Dancer is your guy.

Scott Dancer is an amazing trainer. I originally brought Harper to Scott for a 2-week puppy board and train. When Harper came home he had a great foundation from which to build on. Two years later, I brought Harper to Scott for a refresher course with the goal of having Harper join me at my office. He came home much for confident and should be able to join me in the office soon. Dogs by Dancer's weekly group training sessions, available to all graduates, is a great way to reinforce positive behavior of both the dog and owner. From training, to group classes, to boarding, I highly recommend Dogs by Dancer for your doggy fur children!
