Dogs By Dancer

Scott really went above and beyond for us and our dog. His approach to training makes sense and takes a step by step process that helped us gain control and confidence with our dog. He made accommodations to our difficult schedule, and we are able to go to his group classes for life to keep working on our dog’s socialization and group behavior! Scott has also offered to help with our dog outside the training program and truly cares about the success of each pet he works with. 10/10 would recommend.

Scott has done an amazing job working with me and my dog Cindy. I rescued Cindy at the end of September 2023 and while she was very sweet, she knew no commands, was a huge puller on the leash, and jumped on any dog and human she could. After a single session with Scott, we were able to get her to heel with pretty good accuracy on the walk. Since then over the few months we've worked together, she's learned all the basic commands (Come, Sit, Place/Stay, Down, Off, Up, Heel) and follows them almost every time. He was also able to help me understand some of the likely scenarios of previous trauma that Cindy has from before I rescued her, and how we can work around and through it to get the results that we want. He not only is incredibly sweet with my dog, but his expertise is evident when he can understand and diagnose her moods and body language in an instant. In additional, he's very good at communicating that to me so that I can understand it and bond with Cindy better. I would recommend anyone with a dog that needs help with training to Scott.

If I could give Dogs by Dancer 10 stars, I would. My experience with Scott could not have been more positive. My dog Lucca was struggling badly with separation anxiety--whenever I left the house, he would pee somewhere. 
His barking had also become out of control as we had moved to a house, and he had suddenly become incredibly territorial. As a 9 year old dog, I had reservations about his behavior actually  changing. 
Scott came in and gave us simple and easy-to- use methods to curb his behavior. He practiced them with us, and when we made mistakes, helped us work through them.
In less than six weeks of training, Lucca's behavior has been revolutionized since working with Scott. Since we begin our training, Lucca hasn't Peed in the house and his barking has become almost nonexistent. He's also become much better at socializing with other dogs (which was definitely a struggle before)
I can't recommend Scott and Dogs by Dancer enough! Definitely a go-to for any of your dog training needs.
