Our trainer Jacquye was absolutely amazing. She took the time to understand our needs for training as well as when we requested to work more on a particular skill she adapted what she had already taught us, reviewed it again, and gave me a few more tools to try at home. She loves what she does and it shows with the multitude of "tools" in her training toolbox on things to try for "trouble areas". She was respectful of our training time and though she always had a plan for what we would do at our next session, she made time for any additional needs we may have had from our "homework" training the week prior. She is professional and my dog responded well to her and always wanted to please her and knew she was the pack leader. I was afraid of forgetting the things she was showing me in the lessons and she assisted me in problem solving a method so that I was able to document our sessions to refer back to while at home. Yes, you will have homework, it's important with anything to practice what you are being taught, she is versitle on names of commands and that was important to us as we would be using the commands and wanted something we were comfortable with, regardless of what the "norm" is. Upon our graduation it was both a happy and sad moment as I truly felt as if I added a member of our pack with Jacquye would miss her weekly assistance with raising a well mannered member of our family.

Thus trainer is not willing to work within a disabled customer's limitations. Only like to take easy to train dogs and when there are difficulties, they keep the generous deposit and tell you to get rid of your pet. Not only that, but that you should take them to a breed specific shelter. Every breed specific shelter I called and spoke with said that this trainer is terrible and they send problem dogs that they don't have the skill to train to shelters and tell their clients that the shelters should retrain the dogs. Apparently it's because they can't. Also they are very rude and arrogant, and I suggest anyone that needs a dog trainer....keep looking...don't just throw away your hard earned money to these people. It's interesting to say you haven't heard from us when I tried to contact Amy and she wouldn't respond. Also, their was a whole hurricane situation happening in the middle of all of this situation. I see you using that to your benefit as well. You can shift the blame all you like, but in the end, you took our money, and gave up on our family and our pet and your first go to was to blame us and say we had to get rid of him. Gave us one option only that was impossible and then didnt respond when I tried to contact you for some other solution. Amy even said she didnt like working with huskies and has a hard time with them and needed your help. Hope you enjoy our money, and feel good about devastating a family.
