Trained Boarding is designed as a refresher course for our returning Camp graduates, a consultation for dogs that have not had formal training, or a time for mental stimulation during your dogs stay.
For training alumni: We work on increasing the 3D's: Distance, Duration, and Distraction level for each command they've already learned, to build reliability and reinforce continued good behavior.
For new clients: We use this time as a consultation with your dog, to understand their current behaviors and personality, and evaluate their needs, and make suggestions for Training Programs that could help you reach your goals
For recurring clients: Trained boarding is used as 1:1 time to get your dog out for play, a loose leash walk, or mental stimulation activities designed to keep your dog busy and engaged.

We brought our Wheaton terrier in for a 2 week overnight training course for on leash and behavioral work. We were more than surprised with how much our Wheaton had learned and changed in just 2 weeks. To say the least prior to the course our Wheaton was very high energy, would jump on people, chew things, pull on walks etc. Just after 2 weeks he no longer pulls on the leash, doesn’t jump, learned place, and many other good traits as well. I Would highly recommend steve and his team for any obedience and on or off leash training.
