Dopamine K9 Training & Behavior

I can’t recommend Jeremy at Dopamine K9 enough!! He has been so great to work with, wonderful with communication, and most importantly an effective teacher. We have done 4 lessons with him to help with our Golden Retriever 1yo pup. She starting out with some really annoying behaviors (jumping, escaping through open doors, chasing the kids, chewing all the kids things) and some safety issues (would not recall, pulling on the leash, overly excited meeting new people). With just the 4 lessons, Jeremy has taught me, my husband and our two young kids how to effectively manage these behaviors and most of them are significantly better, if not all the way resolved. We recently had a large gathering with 30-40 people in our backyard. We left our gates open and she never once tried to escape. When people arrived, she independently went to “place” and waited for her release command to greet them, with NO jumping or excited teeth on their hands. No chasing kids, no begging for food, and listened and recalled so well. We received SO many compliments on our “well behaved dog” and many were surprised that she is only a year old. Those that knew her before the training commented on our “completely different dog.” We gave all the credit to Jeremy and his trainings. We will continue to go back for additional trainings and touch ups, and will definitely recommend to all our friends. Thank you Dopamine K9!

Excellent trainer!! My dog Buddy is an exuberant (aka crazy) 80# lab shepherd mix. I love him and he loves me so I wanted him as my service animal when mine was tragically killed. Alas, Buddy was rejected by two professionals who wouldn’t take on the challenge, then a third took anccepted and $40,000 later gave me back a dog who couldn’t sit, stay or heal. No exaggeration here. By luck I saw Jeremy training a dog in a very challenging environment and I was impressed so I asked if he would take on my Buddy. Absolutely the best money ever spent! (A TINY fraction of what I’d spent - his rates are very reasonable and the value is amazing). In a week or so Jeremy had Buddy behaving!! Buddy now also behaves beautifully for my wife who previously could not safely take him for a walk. We go in public w him now and in stores without any issues - and when I get to our property and release him - he still zooms like a mad dog - his old self! But recalls to a heal or down IMMEDIATELY as needed. I always loved this dog - he’s a good boy - but now I am never aggravated by him - which makes life so much better!! Thank you Jeremy and team!! I board Buddy w Jeremy when I have to (which is far less now that I can travel w him) and I always have Jeremy continue the training. 5 stars, couldn’t be happier!!

I am absolutely thrilled with what Dopamine K9 was able to achieve with our 2-year old standard poodle in just 10 days. Previous to his stay with Danielle and Jeremy, our pup was a terrible counter surfer, fence fighter and couch cushion smoosher. While he has always been incredibly sweet and eager to please, we did not know how to accurately and clearly communicate with him about what he was and was not allowed to do. After his board and train, he is so calm, confident, and most importantly, we now understand how to clearly show him what his boundaries are. He now chooses to sleep on his cot or in his kennel instead of the back of the couch and just seems more relaxed overall now that he knows what we are asking of him. Thank you to Dopamine K9 for working such wonders with our sweet boy! We will absolutely continue our training journey with them!

Absolutely love this place. Walked in with my Dachshund that is terrified of people. Within minutes Jeremy had him calmed down. After training we made a few stops on our way home and my usually terrified dachshund walked up to strangers and said hello. Later he even let a stranger pet him. Only one training so far and this is huge progress for my little buddy. Thanks so much Dopamine k9. You guys are a blessing ☺️
