Dori Dog Training

Dori is a gifted dog trainer. He is very naturally calm and nonjudgmental. My 7 month old high-drive male German Shepherd completed a 6 week board and train with Dori in January 2023. Undesired behaviors which brought us to Dori included, among numerous others: mouthing my hands which turned to constant nipping; biting at my feet to the point that we could not walk on leash; very poor social skills including rough play with our elderly dog; budding reactivity to small animals such as squirrels. The behaviors had become disruptive to our otherwise peaceful household, and I worried he was becoming reactive. The results with Dori were amazing: The mouthing has completely disappeared and his behavior is calm and totally reliable with other dogs and people, although he is super playful. He is respectful of our elderly German Shepherd. He is quiet in his crate at night, and we can all sleep again. Just as importantly, Dori has stuck with us while we've worked to stay consistent and retain the calm behaviors at home. It is such a relief to know Dori has our back. I highly recommend Dori with no reservations or qualifiers. He is truly unique.

My wife and I took our German Shepard, Apollo, to Dori Dog Training for a six week board and train. We are both very satisfied with the changes to our dog! After the training Shlomi still asks us how he is doing. We had an issue after the training was complete that we weren't sure how to address. Shlomi came to our house and worked with Apollo and my wife for about an hour. You could not ask for a more dedicated trainer who truly cares about the people and animals he works with. If we ever get another dog they will go straight to Shlomi for the 6 week program.

I sent my one-and-a-half year old Husky, Marlo, to Dori Dog Training this spring due to multiple behavioral concerns not limited to, but includes: reactivity, poor leash skills, separation anxiety, and resource guarding.  We chose to proceed with the six-week board and train program. I received daily updates and pictures of Marlo and attended weekly sessions to track her progress. Not only did Dori resolve Marlo’s behavioral issues, he taught her functional skills now imperative to our everyday life.  Marlo’s transformation was almost unbelievable.  It was the best decision I’ve ever made and Dori will now be our forever board/trainer and number one resource for all questions comments and concerns regarding canine behavior.

We (my husband, dog- Duke, and I) did a behavioral assessment with Dori. My dog is a 6 year old husky, lab, Rottweiler, German Shephard mix with agressive, reactivity issues which we learned from the assessment. Dori's one on one appointment was informative, direct and absolutely worth the amount we paid. We are already implementing small things at home that we learned at the assessment to get a grasp on Duke's behavior and are seeing a big difference. Without Dori I don't know what Duke's future would've been but now I have a grasp on the situation and look forward to what we can accomplish. Thank you so much, to you and your team Dori!
