Double D Dog Training

Dean is an expert with dogs! If you are looking for someone who can connect with your dog and train both the puppy and you, Dean is the person to call. He is professional and personable. I could really tell he cares about the animals and the outcome of the training. We did a 4 week training course and learned not only useful commands, but the importance of keeping my pet mentally stimulated with games, puzzles and toys. I can’t say enough about my positive experience with Dean and Double D Dog Training.

Dean came and worked with our 5 month old Bernie doodle. We were so surprised how well our pup did. Dean was always very communicative during and in between appointments. He is extremely knowledgeable, and has a talent for teaching both dog and owner. I am 100% satisfied with the training we received and I am sad that it has come to an end for these 4 weeks. I highly recommend working with Dean. You will not be disappointed!!!!

Dean trained my 4 month old Lab puppy, Charlie, who was soooo bad before we got Dean. Thank goodness I found him. He trained us both on commands and good dog behavior. With the four classes along with Charlie and I doing our daily homework sessions, Charlie has mastered the commands and is anxious to learn. Dean was very good with Charlie and Charlie took to him immediately. Dean's training methods are simple and easy for Charlie to learn. I am so grateful that I found Dean and Charlie is such a better boy now. Thanks again Dean!

Dean was an invaluable help with acclimating our sweet street dog Sammy to our home. He gave us great tips on how to help her relax at home with her new buddy, Jack. The handouts he provided gave us clear cut strategies to help with sitting, staying, and various other commands. Our walks are now less stressful for her and us. Her skittishness is slowly going away and she is less fearful. I would definitely recommend Dean and his services to all!

We started working with Dean after adopting a 9 month old Golden Retriever. Bringing a new dog home made it more apparent that our 3 year old Schnoodle needed some obedience training. We didn’t want our new puppy learning bad habits so we quickly reached out to Dean to begin our in-home training. Our 3 year old is very scared around strangers so having Dean come to our home helped her to be more at ease. Dean was very patient with our Daisy and by lesson 4 we all noticed a big change in her. Both girls seemed to enjoy their sessions and we will continue working with them utilizing the tools Dean provided. Each session Dean brought new games, toys or treats to try keeping the girls engaged. By our last lesson they were both waiting to see what was in his bag 😁 We would definitely recommend Dean!
