From the initial evaluation, Tara and her team over delivered, and although they have fulfilled the agreed upon services, they still are adding more value! We have had many dogs, but this is the first time having one professionally trained, and after having gathered several recommendations in this area, when we reached out, it just felt right. We dropped off a typical 14 month old Boxer that had zero recall despite our best efforts, and got back a dog that we can play fetch with in our unfenced yard. We couldn't be more excited about the progress and will be using Tara and her team for more advanced training in the near future. I can't recommend Tara and her team enough!

Tara, I’m responding to clarify a few points for accuracy and context, not to argue.This review was not about denying that some progress was made during the sessions we completed. It was about the breakdown in communication and follow through after payment, despite repeated attempts on my end to stay engaged and continue training.You personally observed Tobi’s reactivity during our time together, including in public settings. Despite the sessions we completed, he remains reactive, which is why continued guidance and consistency were so important to me. I was not looking for a quick fix. I was looking for a trainer who would train me to train my dog, and help instill behaviors so thoroughly that they become second nature for him over time.I fully understood and acknowledged that leadership, structure, and ongoing work on our end were necessary. That was never in question. What became the issue was that communication was cut off regardless of my outreach, leaving me without guidance or follow-up while I was actively trying to do the work correctly.At the time, I was five months pregnant and very clear about my concerns, my stress level, and my need for consistency and reliability. When communication stopped and follow-up no longer occurred, it left me in a difficult position with a reactive dog and no explanation.Free or unpaid meetings do not replace consistent communication, nor do they address the concern of being left without support when services were expected to continue. The issue was not effort during sessions, but what happened afterward.Regarding the timing of this review, experiences like this often take time to process, especially during pregnancy, postpartum, and major life changes. The passage of time does not invalidate the experience. I shared this review to share my personal experience, so others who are seeking consistent guidance and meaningful, lasting training results can make informed decisions. In our case, we were working with two dogs that needed help, and when communication stopped, we were left to try to figure things out on our own. That context is important to understanding why this experience was disappointing for us.
