Elizabeth is an internationally credentialed behavior consultant (CDBC) via the IAABC. As well as a licensed Family Dog Mediator (LFDM) Elizabeth bridges the gaps between people and their dogs. FDM’s are certified pet professionals who are trained to assess each animal based on their LEGS- Learning, Environment, Genetics and Self.

We have loved working with Elizabeth! All our sessions were virtual which was extra helpful as our dog has a lot of anxiety around strangers so this flexibility allowed us and our dog to better access the services. Elizabeth was very flexible and great with working with our schedules to set up a times that made sense and worked. When we were working on new skills she would bring in her dogs to show us how to exploring the training, but then would also watch us try it with our dog and give feedback. She took notes each sessions so when we would pick up weeks later she didn't miss a beat! We saw a lot of improvement with our dog and ourselves!

Working with Elizabeth has been a fun and gratifying experience for me and my foster dog Luca. She has a deep knowledge of Pyrenees behavior traits, and has taught me several simple, yet effective positive conditioning exercises to practice with Luca. These remote video sessions have given me a basic tool kit I can use to build trust with Luca in our daily routine. My confidence has grown in working with this challenging breed - independent thinkers!! Consequently, my relationship with Luca has improved! The remote video sessions are as if we are in the same room together. She uses her own dog to demonstrate a skill for me to practice in real time with her live, helpful tips and later as homework.
Elizabeth's ability to share her knowledge, skills and experience in a warm and personal way made our zoom appointments fun! We connected over our mutual love and respect for the breed, their plight in rescue and my desire to utilize best practices in order to better prepare Luca for adoption into his forever home; and ultimately, to live in peace and harmony with a Pryenees....or two!
