Empower Canine

Emily is a fantastic! I have worked with her more than once, and I’m so thankful for her expertise and the positive impact she has made on my confidence with dogs and their behaviors. She taught me how to use a structured, knowledgeable approach of encouragement and patience, that helped to create a more positive relationship with them. She focused on desired behaviors, explained training concepts clearly, and taught me and my family the importance of staying committed. Emily truly cared abut my dog’s successes. We were introduced to Emily of Empower Canine after inquiring and eventually adopting our 2 year old beagle mix, Sevyn, that was being fostered by her. He had completed a 5 week board & train program. Sevyn was an energetic and loving dog that seemed to be a perfect fit for our family but the icing on the cake was the skills he had developed during his stay with Emily! He was potty & crate trained and knew several commands such as come, down, heel, place, and wait. The most important part of our decision in adopting Sevyn was Emily’s willingness to work with us and help us through the transition. She has been an amazing resource and support for us. We have continued to work with her since the adoption and plan to continue to work with her as needed throughout Sevyn’s lifetime! We are so grateful that Sevyn was given the skills & tools he needed to succeed all thanks to Empower Canine.
