Eric Letendre's Dog Training School

My husband John and I have a Standard Poodle. She was pretty well trained on the basics of come, sit, and stay; but the problem we had was recall with distractions. We live near the ocean and like to let the dog run free on the beach; but if she charges other dogs that makes that dog and their owner very upset, and we're the bad guys! So we contacted Eric Letendre for much better off leash training, with his Invisible Leash method. After only a couple of sessions, the difference was remarkable. We would let the Poodle run free and have fun, and when she happened to get within a few feet of another dog .... we'd call her and she'd do a U- Turn and run right back to us. We get great compliments from the other dog people on the beach, and we give full credit to Eric Letendre for our U-Turn training! We continued with Eric for more training on the basics, and he turned the pretty well trained dog, into a very well trained dog! Eric's knowledge of training methods, and his experience make him a sure bet for any dog training need you may have.

Eric Letendre truly is the amazing dog training man. He has been a fabulous resource for our family over the years, from helping us train our rambunctious pups to a home visit when we experienced a dog fight. Eric and his people are in tune with the animals 100% and also caring and compassionate with the human families when dealing with difficult decisions. I’d recommend this business wholeheartedly.

We are so thankful we found Eric’s dog training program. We brought our reactive 3 year old Australian cattle dog after struggling a lot over the past couple years with him being reactive with other dogs and people and always trying to assert his dominance. We struggled on walks, outings, people coming over and the list goes on. We expressed we weren’t comfortable with immediately putting him into group training, as he can be very reactive with other dogs. We did two private group sessions and within those sessions had him slowly introduced to other dogs until we felt comfortable with him joining in. The first group training went great. Just within two trainings and consistent work at home, he is a new dog. Eric’s lessons implement structure and with sticking to those magic words and commands Milo has improved significantly, and we haven’t even finished the course. Having people over is no longer an issue for us, walks are now enjoyable with Milo, and he’s less reactive overall in all areas. I can’t express enough how amazing this program has been. We were afraid we were a little late with bringing him, but it’s never too late to correct your dogs behavior. Erics team is great and they truly know how to speak your dogs language, so they understand what their being told. Sticking to their program at home and in their classes has been life changing for us and Milo. We highly recommend them!

My dog became leash reactive after a move to a new neighborhood filled with dogs. Walks became stressful for us both. We have only gone to one session so far, 2 days ago, the tips and support I’ve been given have made a huge impact on us. I’m so proud of my girl’s progress in such a short amount of time and walks feel like a BREEZE. It’s honestly crazy to see the difference. We cant wait to grow and improve more in the group classes.
