Evergreen School For Dogs

We came to Evergreen School after finding out our new puppy, Walter, was born deaf. We were overwhelmed and honestly at a loss. Walter struggled with anxiety, aggression, leash walking, and all the basic behaviors. Tommy was incredibly patient and committed from the start. He worked with us in his home, in public spaces, and at our house to help both Walter and our family learn how to communicate effectively. Through his training, Walter gained confidence, learned important behaviors, and his daily anxiety decreased significantly. Tommy truly cares about the dogs and families he works with, and we are so grateful for everything he did for Walter. Highly recommend!

I have a problem dog. He’s a big dog and I think Tommy is correct when he says that there are not very many people in the state that would adopt a dog like mine. But Tommy has helped him a lot. We aren’t going as much anymore because we moved to a different part of the state. But if you have a reactive, big dog, the kind that you can only take out during certain times of the day bc otherwise it’s going to be a lot of work, changing directions, barking, lunging, and generally canine outrage, go see Tommy and Cordelia. Plus, really nice people.

We adopted a dog and quickly learned that we didn’t know how to control him around house guests when my older parents came to visit. We luckily found Tommy and he was able to come out quickly and train us on how to train Bandit. Within an hour, we felt much more in control of the situation and with the continued lessons, we have a great companion that loves all of our guests. I would recommend Tommy for the range of basic to advanced training.
