Is it possible to give 10 stars? Review for Heather at Everyday K9 I've recently started working with Heather at Everyday K9, and I must say, the experience has been nothing short of remarkable. As an owner of two Great Danes, ensuring their behavior is well-managed is crucial, and Heather has been a game changer in this regard. What sets Heather apart from other trainers I've worked with over the years is her effective and insightful approach. Unlike past experiences where progress was minimal, my dogs have become notably calm and easy to handle in a surprisingly short amount of time under Heather's guidance. One of the most impressive aspects of Heather's training is her ability to explain the rationale behind each technique. We cannot recommend Heather & EverydayK9 enough! We joined the community originally because our reactive Siberian Husky, Kilo, was dragging us around with the leash trying to get to wherever he wanted to go or whoever he wanted to see but we have learned so much more than we ever imagined! We have so much confidence now as Kilos handlers & are able to take him on enjoyable walks with little to no reactions. We’ve even started getting into dog sports now too! We’ve learned the importance of dogs doing nothing & how powerful practicing their calm muscles are. Highly recommend for all new dog owners & any dog owners struggling with literally ANYTHING!

It is so difficult to find the right words to express how happy I am that I joined the EK9 community! My dogs are thriving with the guidance of Heather and Chad. I can feel confident taking my dogs places. We can walk downtown along the busy streets, go to dog friendly restaurants, and take them on vacations with ease! To say I highly recommend Heather and Chad as the best dog trainers in St. Pete wouldn’t even do justice to the impact they have had on my life with my dogs. I had been to two different trainers with my first German Shepherd and wanted to start out on the right path when I got my second shepherd. After months of researching dog trainers in the Tampa Bay Area before I even got my second puppy, I kept coming back to Everyday K9’s Facebook page. It appeared to be exactly what I was looking for-a balanced training program that also emphasized on training the handlers, not just the dogs. Plus it always looked like everyone was having fun! I am happy to report a year into joining their community that the EK9 community is exactly what you see on their social media 🤣❤️ I have learned countless invaluable skills and lessons from Heather and Chad that have given me the confidence to navigate any real world situation by myself with my two shepherds. I have also gained so many new friends through their community that I honestly look forward to going to classes every week! I have had friends and even acquaintances I haven’t spoken to in years reach out to me telling me they wished they had a training community like EK9 where they live! It truly is such a unique and special training community that I am so thankful so be a part of. I have witnessed my own dogs overcome separation anxiety, navigate some leash reactivity, and learn to exercise a calm mind muscle in otherwise exciting/nerve wracking situations (not an easy feat for drivey working dogs!).
