Family Dog Training & Behavioral Center, LLC

We had a great experience with taking the obedience and basic skills class. We adopted a year old dog from the Kansas humane society. She had a few bad habits. We had a complete turnaround after attending 7 weeks of classes. We did the weekly homework and followed the advice of the teacher (Kelly is great!). We now have several tricks- sit, touch lay down, wait, leave it. Still a work in progress on drop it 😉 We have leash training with slack in the leash, instead of lots of pulling (most the time). It was a great experience. Our dog looked forward to class each week. She got 50+ tiny snacks in 55 minutes LOL she LOVED it. Highly recommend if you want help training your fur baby.

Only if I had more than two thumbs….because this team deserves just that!! From walking on a leash, car ride, and just plain getting my dog’s attention this team help lay down a foundation my dog did not have before. I can’t thank them enough for giving me the confidence to help my dog! If you are second guessing dog training…for whatever reason PLEASE! do not think twice about this place!! Wonderful amazing nothing but great things! Thank you so much Kelly and her team!

I previously had a very positive opinion of this facility and their staff, but the current front reception and scheduling person has significantly diminished the experience for me. The level of professionalism, communication/grammar skills, and outright lack of basic MANNERS displayed by this young lady was not what the experience used to be. I felt like I was texting a middle schooler, if I'm being honest. This represents a serious downgrade in service from previous admins and reflects poorly on the facility overall. We will be taking our reactive dog to another facility for future needs.

I took a class many years ago with Kelly and loved her teaching style. I recently got a new puppy and wanted to follow the same path as I did with my OG dog. I was sad to see Kelly wasn't teaching as much but still wanted to support her business so I signed up for classes. It was a relief to discover I loved my new trainer, Brianna, as much as I love Kelly! She truly has handpicked the best staff and it's been great to watch her business grow. Every staff member is a joy to work with and we look forward to our next class.
