My overall experience with Steven at Family Dog Training Services, LLC was absolutely incredible. From start to finish I received extreme professionalism, a genuine desire to help, quality care for my dog (Gunner), and consummate results. Upon being informed that I would be leaving for a 7-month deployment, I was forced to rapidly develop a plan of care for my best friend. After only one phone call and face to face consultation, I knew that Steven could be trusted. Really exceptional service and professionalism. Steven trained our rescue in a 5 week program over a year ago and she still remembers her training and responds beautifully! We did some additional work with Steven in late 2022 and the results have been amazing. He personalizes the training based on what the dog needs and he works with owners closely to make sure they can support and reinforce what he has taught your dog. It is not a "one size fits all"approach. It's a very tailored approach. We highly recommend Steven. His highest priority is always your dog!

We had Steven train our 14 month old German Shepard puppy Ace, for a 4 week program & the results are incredible! Even few months after training he is doing pretty well on all the basic commands. The best part of the training with Steven is that he took time and understood Ace along with our pain points. He doesn’t have a one training program fits all type of training technique. He worked with Ace based on his personality. He corrected some behavior issues and also did set our expectations right. Communication all along the way was excellent. I would recommend Steven any day for any training needs for your fur babies! We continue to use his services for boarding Ace as we trust him completely. Grateful to have found Steven as a trainer ! Steven is absolutely amazing; very knowledgeable, and experienced. He is truly passionate about his work and it is very clear he cares deeply about each dog he trains and the family he’s helping. He came highly recommended to us by our breeder and we can clearly see why! Do not hesitate to contact him if you need help. Our GSD puppy is very high drive and high energy, and it was making our experience with her at home almost unbearable. We brought her to Steven and after working with her for 6 weeks, she’s like a totally different dog! Not only did he train her perfectly, he took the time to help us understand what she needed and how to solve our problems. We couldn’t be happier!

Sending our German Shepherd, Delta, to spend a month with Steven is undoubtedly the best decision we have made as dog parents. Words really can’t express how much he changed our lives with Delta. Steven helped us understand our dog on a deeper level, how to communicate with her, and how to enable her to live her best dog life. He truly has a gift when he comes to understanding each dog and what makes them unique. After training with Steven, we’re able to walk Delta for miles on leash, we can go off leash hiking on trails and trust she will stay with us and listen, and we can have her be around our friends and family without fearing that she’ll jump or nip at someone. The connection we feel with Delta is so much stronger now thanks to Steven. Every day since we brought her home a month ago, I get choked up thinking about how amazing our life is with her and how it wouldn’t be possible without Steven. Every dog I have from here on out will be going to see Steven for as long as he’s available. Thank you Steven for being Delta’s Mr. Miyagi!
