She follows up every session with very detailed notes and sometimes videos, so I always felt set up for success practicing the training on my own. Tanya helped us work with our dog Finn on barking at the window and some anxiety he had around vet procedures. We made huge progress thanks to Tanya! Finn absolutely loved Tanya as well – she had a very calming and confident presence and he was always so excited when she came over for training days.

Tanya helped my dachshund go from reactive and unresponsive to calm and attentive. She taught me strategies to change Frankie's reaction and emotions when seeing or walking past another dog. I did not think we could actually get to the point of being able to walk past another dog without him barking and lunging, but upon training graduation he showed off and walked past 6-7 dogs with his eyes on me! Frank seems much happier now that we can go places without getting worked up by triggers, and so am I! I highly recommend Tanya--she is clear with directions, communicative, and effective.

I absolutely recommend Tanya and FamilyPupz!!! She’s a very responsive and dedicated trainer, who follows up each session with comprehensive notes (and sometimes with attached videos she takes during the session) so you can properly continue to train alone. She is incredibly knowledgeable and so good with my dog. With her positive training style, qualifications, experience and personality, she would be great for any kind of training, from basic training to more complex dog issues, like mine.
Tanya was recommended by my vet because of my dog’s fear issues. I’ve had four other dogs in my life and have never experienced anything like my dog’s fear issues and complete mistrust of men. Based on her behavior I knew if I didn’t change this, she may eventually bite somebody. I’ve trained all my other dogs, but solving this was way above my pay grade so I knew I needed a professional. Tanya has met and exceeded my expectations. Every session is eye-opening and effective because my dog is already doing better with new people in her house, including men!
Tanya is showing me, by the progress my dog is making through training, that there is hope for my dog to be relaxed and calm around strangers. Tanya truly is amazing!

Tanya was patient with both Chicken and I to find a training plan that worked for us.
