Tanya is everything I hoped I would be able to find in a dog trainer and more. I found Family Pupz through their puppy socialization classes, and knew immediately that I wanted to work with Tanya for 1:1 training with my bernedoodle puppy Mason. Before working with Tanya, Mason loved to eat anything/everything off the ground and jumped up on every person and dog he saw when we were out on walks. I had tried to do a bit of training myself, but quickly learned after I started working with Tanya all of the things I had been missing in my training. Tanya took time every session to help me learn how to handle different situations, trouble shoot based on issues I was having, and then recapped both at the end of the training session and in a follow up email to make sure I had all the tools I needed to be successful. I can now bring Mason on walks without worrying that he’ll eat something he shouldn’t because he has mastered leave it and drop it, and also can walk past other dogs and people calmly! Mason has even learned some polite greeting sequences to be able to greet people in public and in my home. I am so proud of how far he has come during our time working with Family Pupz. Tanya is kind, caring, and compassionate, and those traits shine through in the work that she does. Each time we worked together I could tell how much she cared about helping me and Mason both achieve what we set out to do. I am so grateful to have found Tanya, and I highly recommend working with her!

Tanya has been amazing at guiding us through puppyhood with our puppy Ollie! Tanya is always very professional, kind, patient and responsive with us and our puppy and she always takes special care in recognizing and taking into account the training we’ve done and other solutions we’ve tried. She helps us break up “the big problems” and work out smaller, easy to do and understand steps to resolve them. Our pup has improved so much since we started training with Tanya! We’re so glad to have found Tanya and would absolutely recommend FamilyPupz to anyone!

Highly recommend Tanya's training classes. So far I have only done one class, and my puppy is so much well behaved. Very knowledagble and skilled in what she teaches. If you have a puppy or older dog that needs training I highly recommend you bring him/her to Tanya

This class is awesome! So organized, informative, fun and friendly environment. So glad we got into these small personal classes. Well worth it! Tanya and Charles are so helpful and honestly some of the kindest people I’ve met in Denver: compared to other puppy socialization classes we tried previously this class is the best.

I had a great experience with Tanya. My blind dog got attacked by another dog in the park over a year ago and has had unpredictable aggression towards some other dogs ever since. Tanya worked with me to teach Lulu to stay and come, and taught me how to slowly introduce her to other dogs, especially in the home where Lulu has particularly bad aggression. It was a pleasure working with Tanya! I'd recommend her to anyone.
