Josh at FEARLESS K9 is the most knowledgeable trainer I have ever spoken with. His understanding of canine genetics and psychology is very impressive. But what is more impressive (and important in my eyes) is how he was able to build the right training plan that made sense to both my dog and to me, just based on what he was seeing! He explained that the obedience issues I was having was actually coming from a relationship issue that I wasn’t even aware me and my dog had! He definitely looks at all the pieces to make sure nothing is missed. I couldn’t be happier with the results. The relationship I am now enjoying with my dog is far beyond what I thought was possible. Even though I now live multiple states away, Josh is still fully committed to helping me when an issue comes up or I have a question. I have been able to schedule phone calls and we even have standing video conference sessions set up with him in order to keep us thriving! Its a really unique set up and it’s fun to be part of the work! I can’t thank him enough and would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone even if you aren’t local to him, it’s worth the effort!!!

My sweet puppy has been enrolled in Puppy classes, I’ve have learned so much as a dog owner and she has grown in a postive direction. Moments when I questioned myself Josh stepped in to reassure and teach me tricks in creating a good relationship with my fur baby. Then I had to board her for a couple days while I went away. I was so happy they also board dogs, her stay was fantastic. Josh and Gina loved her as if she were their own. How lucky I felt to have a professional dog trainer hanging out with my 🐶 pup. Maya was abused in the months before I rescued her and had a traumatic start to her doggy life. She was always timid with new people but very happy. She was my world for 6 years before I got married and had a child, as she was expected to share more and more of my time and affection, she became overly territorial. While this <20 lb. American Eskimo doesn’t present like an intimidating dog compared to bigger, stereotypical “aggressive” breeds, she had some unpredictable, high risk behaviors and was beyond protective of myself to the point where attacking wasn’t beyond her. As our infant turned into a toddler their interactions because less frequent and not always positive. I needed someone experienced with dogs who could help us before we had to separate her from my daughter permanently. During the first session Josh immediately gave me skills I could utilize to create structure for Maya with clear cut commands and responses. He worked through individual scenarios with us and the potential for other things to arise proactively. He worked over several weeks with her and I to get Maya to a place where she could interact with us, our toddler and our guests without fear of her lashing out because of being uncomfortable. She was happier, the environment was safer for everyone and we all feel less stressed about the future. He responded to texts when issues would arise and was flexible with scheduling, spending as much time as needed with Maya and us one-on-one! I will exclusively use him with all of our dogs’ and their needs in the future and recommend him for anyone with a challenging dog, new puppy or any canine who is part of your family!
