We had an amazing experience working with Anthony. We brought our young black lab to Fetching Feathers and she needed work! Anthony put together his plan and executed. We were pleased when we visited our dog, as Anthony would walk us through her strengths and weaknesses being completely honest. He would walk us through his upcoming goals and specific areas she needed work. He would custom tailor his training every week for what was best for our dog, while still hitting our overall goals. We saw growth in our dog’s obedience and attitude every visit. Anthony’s facility is set up well for what he does, always clean and organized. I would, and have recommended Fetching Feathers to people who want results. We now have an obedient hunting partner and loving home companion!

We just recently picked up our dog from training and couldn’t be happier with Anthony and the team. This will be the fourth dog we’ve sent his way! While Fetching Feathers isn’t the closest to us (we are in Kansas City) we will forever make the drive for the service they provide. My husband is always very impressed with how great the dogs work during hunting season and while I don’t necessarily care about that, I have peace knowing I don’t have to worry about my dogs while they’re away for several months at a time! They come back safe, sweet, and ready to work. Dogs are family and you can trust sending your babies Anthony’s way!

I just picked my 1yo male GSP up from Fetching Feathers program and can’t say enough great things about Anthony, Mike, and their team. I had initially enrolled my dog at 5mo into another program at a hunt club in Colorado and was relatively unhappy with the communication throughout and lack of progress my dog made in that other program. This was not the case with Fetching Feathers. I knew I wanted to get my dog back into a program ahead of his first season. So, I set out to “interview” a number of trainers across the front range (3 total) via scheduled 1x1s with my dog. After meeting with all three, it was clear that Anthony and FF was the right choice. From the first 1x1 I chose FF because of what they promisssd and exhibited in that first meeting: constant communication and progress updates (videos and written), LOTS of bird contact, methodical obedience training, and a real love/passion for what they do. They delivered on every bit of that, flat out. What I got back was a dog that had been completely reset on his bird steadiness, retrieve, and obedience. It was not easy due to the prior training program experience for my dog, but Anthony’s positive demeanor and persistence drove positive results that I couldn’t be happier with. My only regret with Fetching Feathers is that I didn’t send my dog there first. Having now put my dog through two different programs, and two other 1x1s with different trainers, I can confidently say there’s really no better investment in your dog and yourself to make than choosing Anthony and Fetching Feathers. I look forward to continuing my dogs growth in future 1x1 sessions with FF as well. Thanks Anthony, Mike, and team. You have something great going.

World class training from start to finish with a personalized, thoughtful approach that works. I started talking to Anthony before my pup was born and he turned her into a pro by the time she was one. We started 1v1 sessions at 4 months old and she joined his boarding program at 9 months of age. He works with you and your dog to give them the training they need to fit your goals, rather than running them through a one-size-fits-all program. Facilities are extremely clean. Communication is excellent. Nobody works harder and with more integrity. The results speak for themselves: our Brittany came back a field-ready bird dog with a strong drive and big nose while keeping the personality we love. She is a sweet, well-mannered, and obedient family dog at the house. I couldn't be happier with the process and results, and can't speak highly enough about Anthony and his operation. 10/10.

I can't say enough good things about the crew at Fetching Feathers. I brought my GSP pup to Anthony and Joe at 16 weeks for the first time - as a pup we started to work on basic commands, taught a suburb dog how to run big, and got her gun broke for her first season. When it was time for FF camp, Anthony, Mike, and Joe got all the pieces to click - everything from home obedience, to leash work, to field work, was dialed in to levels far above my expectations. Thanks to FF, my GSP is an ACE at home and in the field and I'm stoked to get her on birds this fall. FF is the only place I'll take my dogs to board and train. The care, thought, communication, time, and effort they give and dedicate to each individual dog is unmatched. Cannot recommend FF enough. Thank you Anthony, Mike, and Joe!
