Fidelio has truly been life-changing! We are incredibly grateful for everything they have done for our dogs and how it has impacted the entire family. We are especially thankful for Trent & Thomas, who have been amazing and always treat our dogs like their own <3 Two of our dogs were struggling with challenging behaviors that were becoming unsafe in our home (we have a full house with two other dogs, two children, and an older cat). It was becoming overwhelming, and we weren't sure how to address it. With our youngest dog (1yr, heeler mix), Fidelio started working with her early on and completely turned things around! She returned home confident and genuinely happier. She knows all her commands, is great on leash, and it's been so much fun to continue working on her training. Our older dog (8yr, terrier mix) was a more complex case, and we honestly didn’t know what to expect. He had been on anxiety medication for over five years, was showing significant aggression toward our other pets, and we were seeing that start to happen with humans also. Now, he is off his anxiety meds, calmer, and it feels so good to see him relaxed and enjoying himself. Even though he is older, he learned all of his commands and even seems excited to do them! Fidelio also spent a lot of time helping us understand what he needs from us to continue living a happy, balanced life. Fidelio has been a game-changer for my family. I’ve had dogs all of my life and still had a lot to learn. In our case we have an older dog and now a new puppy, and it was not going well. Now both have bright futures now with structure and with practical and attainable discipline. Put in the time, it’s worth it. Our trainer is Trent and he’s highly engaging and under the tutelage of Donovan, our lives with our dogs vastly improved.

We took our very anxious, fearful puppy Snoop to Fidelio Dog Works for their board and train program and I cannot recommend them enough! As a dog owner, leaving your puppy for training can feel so scary. You worry about everything — will they remember you, will they think you left them, will they come back the same? I’ve been in the veterinary field for over 10 years and had actually never boarded any of my pets because of those fears. After watching several friends and team members take their dogs to Fidelio and seeing the incredible transformations, we decided to trust the process — and I am so glad we did. This team is absolutely amazing. Snoop loves Jada, and Trent, Thomas, and Donovan have been incredible throughout the entire process. Donovan takes the time to explain the why behind the training which really puts your mind at ease, and Trent does an amazing job connecting with both the dogs and the humans. They truly understand that our pets are family. We just attended Snoop’s pre-go-home visit and the transformation in his confidence and obedience is incredible. We are beyond impressed and so thankful for everything they’ve done for our boy. If you’re considering training, Fidelio Dog Works is the place to go!

There are definitely similarities in rearing a child and a puppy, but as a first time puppy owner the puppy rearing challenges come at a rapid pace. Dog training books, videos and training subscription I thought were adequate tools to train our puppy. What we found was a compilation of different training philosophies that created confusion. Fortunately a referral for Fidelio’s services could not have come at a better time. Our five month old Whippet puppy was entering the adolescence phase and we needed help. After enrolling her in the three week board and train program the results are transformative. Our expectation was to have an obedient and well behaved puppy. Mission accomplished, but the training is ongoing. Fidelio will be following up with us as part of the training/coaching process. Their motto: “Training Dogs Coaching People.”

After multiple failed attempts with many other trainers, we can’t say enough about how outstanding our experience with Fidelio Dog Training has been. The trainers, especially the owner, Donovan, as well as Trent, are amazing. They have gone above and beyond training him in real life situations such as taking him to busy places like Home Depot, kid’s sporting events, and even helping him acclimate to routine medical care by taking him to the vet. Donovan’s knowledge of different breeds and their temperament and his ability to explain their training methodology is impressive. Our dog, who according to many trainers, is highly intelligent could be a challenge to train. They are so attuned to the personality of individual dogs and understand the need to adapt their training techniques. The results are astounding. Of course, most importantly, it means so much to us to see that they truly care about our furry boy. If you want dog training that will give you a calm, confident and well-adjusted dog, we couldn’t recommend Fidelio enough.
