**edit to add reply** Every trainer was confident in his training - so no, it was not 'very clear' he would come back with even more problems on top of his aggression. I talked to countless trainers, and not a single one of them suggested euthanasia. My mistake was trusting the wrong trainers with both my money and my dog's well being. BUT Elle was a fearless trainer and we really appreciated how well she worked and took time with Mason. No complaints to her It is extremely telling that your response fails to acknowledge his health issues and the severe lack of communication throughout the entire process. What WAS made very clear, however, is that your profit takes priority over care. Instead of taking accountability, you continue to dismiss concerns, only reinforcing how little you actually care. Whether this happened 15 years ago or yesterday, our experience remains unchanged. ******** I am beyond disappointed with my experience at Fidelity k9. As a broke teenager, I spent $4,000 on this training, and I regret it more than anything. I sent my dog here for the board and train, specifically to address his aggression, which I made very clear from the start. Before committing, I even did a private lesson to ensure that my dog could be worked with, and they assured me that they were equipped to handle his issues. Unfortunately, that was not true. The communication throughout the entire 6-week process was horrendous. They never informed me that on the first day, it took 8 hours to get him out of his kennel, which is concerning. They also never mentioned that my dog didn’t like laying down, nor did they really focus on addressing that issue. Most alarmingly, they didn’t tell me that my dog couldn’t be around most of their trainers, which was a critical part of his aggression training. Had I known ANY of this, I would have pulled him out immediately and requested a refund. When I picked him up, he was showing signs of aggression still at the facility that were clearly never addressed. He had started jumping on people, something he had never done before, and it was clear that the aggression issue remained fully unresolved. To make matters worse, he had a swollen eye, which they attributed to him possibly scratching it, but I later discovered it was from an allergic reaction to the hotdogs they had been feeding him during his stay. It’s clear they didn’t take care to look into this or even monitor his health. Although we continued working with him daily, the training made no significant difference. The only minor improvement was that he walked slightly better on a leash, but his aggression was still a problem. The final straw came when we needed someone to watch him during our vacation. Since I had paid for lifetime boarding, I naturally turned to them for help. However, we were told it was unsafe for them to take him in. If they were unwilling to take him in for boarding, they should not have taken him in for 6 week board and train to begin with. We even arranged a meet-and-greet with his trainers to see if they could warm up to him, but he was still the same as before. After more complaints, they said they could probably take him, but by then, we felt uncomfortable with the idea and ended up canceling our vacation to stay home with our dog. As a teenager, $4,000 is a LOT of money, and I feel completely robbed. I trusted this facility with my dog and my money, and they failed on every level. My dog spent 6 weeks in a stressful environment and came back with no real progress, just more frustration. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, especially not to other young people or families who can’t afford to lose that kind of money nor anyone with an aggressive dog.
