First Class Canine Training

We took our Beagle Ollie for training with Dave for 6 lessons and nearly a year later Ollie still remembers everything he was taught. Dave was very kind, welcoming, and took us calmly and slowly through everything we needed to know to properly handle and train our dog. It wasn't so much training the dog as it was also training us to have the skills and mentality to properly handle the dog as well. Highly recommend to anyone seeking to have their dog trained.

Dave is an exceptional dog trainer who guided me through raising my first working line German Shepherd, Gunner. Dave’s expertise in communication and effective problem-solving truly stood out! Dave is Great! I have never seen a person so patience and willing to share knowledge. I am an enthusiast and have taken a lot of online courses and trained my dog by myself. I thought everything was great and perfect with my protection work. I had the tools, and my dog was biting on command and stopping on command, but little did i know! With all his technique, he not only corrected my mistakes me but he got a fan! I have been training with him since then and taking his courses, which are great! Because of him, I am planning to get another dog and start from zero and follow his technique all along, of course, with him by my side. I have never known/met anyone that is even close to Dave's skill. There is a lot of youtubers there, making money online with videos, but seeing it live, without editing, without a screen, and without 100s of takes, is the real deal, and i have seen it from Dave. 100% Recommend !

I highly recommend Dave and First Class Canine Training! Shiloh's behavior was out of control. I was very aware of typical husky behaviors after having one for 10 years, but this was beyond anything I could handle. I tried classes and even had a trainer come to my home. Nothing worked! She was a bully to the other pets, did not listen and carried on at all hours. After a year, I was desperate. Dave worked with Shiloh for 2 1/2 weeks, I was skeptical that there would be any changes. I was very wrong! I picked up a totally different dog! She is sweet, obedient and is eager to please. I've continued with her lessons at home just as Dave instructed me. Five months later she is still the new improved husky Dave helped her become. I am forever grateful for the transformation in Shiloh. She is a loving little girl who now participates with everyone instead over nipping and bullying. You want the best for your dog, this it it!

Hi Dave, We wanted to take a moment to express our family’s sincerest gratitude for the extraordinary dog training services you provided to our 1 year old chocolate lab / Yogi and our 2 year old black lab / Mickey. We dropped each of them off to you for your 2 week obedience training sessions. Your expertise, patience, and focus transformed our mischievous trouble makers into well-mannered and obedient family members. The progress we witnessed in our dog’s behavior is incredible. Both dogs “place” on their dog beds during our meals and when the door bell rings. They “heel” besides us when we are hiking or bike riding . And when they are told to “sit” or “down” as needed – they immediately comply. Mickey and Yogi walk “lock step” with us whether its on the sidewalk, county park or along the surf at our beach house. They love to swim too… This is all a result of your flawless training techniques added with a real passion for dogs. Additionally you trained us too! You taught us how to maintain these positive behaviors through constant training lesson reinforcement, correction when needed and rewarding stellar performance. My dogs are now noticeably more confident and happier. Once again, we extend our utmost appreciation for all you’ve done with my 2 boys. I cannot tell you the countless complements we receive when walking Mickey & Yogi! I’m constantly recommending you to anyone who needs a professional to transform their dogs into obedient companions.
