Mere words cannot describe Sami and how she saved Ripley's life. We only rescued him. Ripley was listed at FAMD as a stray Rottweiler and we decided to adopt him based on a short "meet and greet". However once we had him for a couple of weeks, it became clear to us that Ripley likely had never been an "indoor" dog. He had absolutely no idea how to behave in a house. We were really struggling with him (he was starting to get aggressive with me) and a friend suggested Sami because of her extensive knowledge of large/aggressive dogs. Sami not only rehabilitated him DURING the pandemic, she kept Ripley while he endured painful heartworm treatments. All in all, she had him for at least double and maybe triple the "normal" amount of time and didn't charge us extra. He is now a cherished part of our family and I can't imagine him not being with us. Sami did all that for him, gave him the gift of having a forever home.

We had our first child on the way and a one year old Pomeranian puppy named Beast. Because she is a beast. She was a complete maniac puppy and we were lost. We were not sure how it was going to work with a newborn in the house. We were referred to Sami and it was the best thing that could have happened for our family. Beast took a couple week vacation and came back the same crazy puppy but she listened to commands and did everything she was told immediately. It was an unbelievable transformation. Our son and beast are now best friends and we would highly recommend the priceless services of Five Lakes Dog Training!!!

We are so thankful to have found Sami to train our rescue pup. After many failed attempts in other training programs, Sami trained our dog to and family in order to decrease her anxiety and improve her behavior around our home and on walks. Our dog had significant fear aggression with any visitors in home and when walking on leash. We no longer have to worry about her biting or acting aggressively in these situations. Do it, you won’t regret it. I found Five Lakes Dog Training by luck when I was at the bottom of the barrel. I had tried numerous other training options but still my puppy, Hazel, was showing aggression and behavioral issues. So much so that I was afraid to have people over without her charging at them, she would bark ferociously at everyone and everything, and was overly protective of me. That was when I found Sami. Her methods worked miracles not only on Hazel, but also on me. Sami worked with me to ensure I had the technique down and felt confident. It was the best money I have spent, hands down. I can now have people over without fear and life is just better. I have now recommended Five Lakes to three other friends with dogs who needed guidance, and they too have not been disappointed.
