Flash Dog Training

Ali and her team were awesome! Our very anxious 3 year old lab completed the board and train and came home a much more relaxed pup. He is able to walk easily on the leash and teaching him the place command has given him a safe space to relax at home. He is more engaged with us and it feels like we finally have a way to communicate with him that is effective. We look forward to using the e collar on outdoor adventures!

We came to Flash after months of training our dog using all different techniques, but after all that time we hadn't made much progress. Our dog was very reactive and would lash out at any dog he saw, heard, or just sensed anywhere nearby. After three weeks at Flash dog, he is much more manangble, and we have the tools to work with him. He is still reactive, unfortunately he always may be, but Flash improved our life and his. Even if he does not succeed in neutrally passing dogs at all times, he is much more confident than he used to be and the number of triggers that set him off has decreased significantly.

I ended up taking my 8 year old Schnauzer to Flash Dog Training for reactiveness issues. I would avoid walking him certain times of day and no longer felt comfortable taking him to breweries or hiking due to these issues. I had a friend that recommended Flash Dog for similar issues. I talked to Ali prior to training to set realistic expectations and discuss all of George’s issues- leash reactive, anxiety with small kiss, bikes , strollers and many more. George completed his training and we continue to have sessions with Ali once or twice a month if we’re needing guidance on working with him. Since bringing him home we enjoy taking out more. Training has improved my relationship with George and my stress around taking him places. I would recommend to anyone with a puppy or reactive dog. We will definitely be taking the next dog we get as soon as possible
