These guys are the best! I get complements all the time on how well behaved my dog is which is something worth noting since she used to obey but whine incessantly constantly now she’s able to self soothe, not need to be constantly entertained and chills out without being exhausted! It’s a totally different experience of the same dog. If you have a dog that struggles with anxiety or aggression this is definitely the place to take them in my mind! Worth every penny! (I went for the 3 week intensive and while it was a challenge she was gone during that point I was soo glad to see her progress when I got her back)

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Flash Dog Training! Our Australian Cattle Dog dog, Toby, had a lot of issues going on. Issues included not wanting to be touched, bite history, snarling/snapping at us if we asked him to do something he didn't want to do, fear of new places and people (including rooms in our own house!), turning into a monster in the car, and pretty bad reactivity towards everything and everyone on walks. We had worked with other trainers for years and had made a lot of progress with him, but felt stuck in helping him move forward. We were due with our first baby, and knew that we had to help Toby or else the life he was used to with us would get really limited. We did not feel safe taking him in the car with the baby, or going on walks with him and the baby at the same time. Given his bite history, we wanted to make sure we knew how to keep him and the baby safe. We also knew that Toby did best with using tools like the prong collar and e-collar, but we needed more guidance on how to use them in the best way for him. Jess and the whole team at Flash Dog really listened to us, and designed a plan for him around our goals. The communication both before, during, and after his board and train has been excellent. Toby's allergies started acting up while he was there, and Jess reached out to us to let us know. We were able to send his medication and they kept us updated with how he was doing. We got to see pictures of him learning (definitely follow their Instagram!) and it was clear that he had built a great bond with Jess and the other staff. It was great to see he was still his goofy self and clearly having fun! He also earned a lot of nicknames with them, which made us really feel like they cared about him and his growth. Toby ended up doing a 5 week visit, and came back the best version of himself. Flash Dog training completely changed his life, and the future that he has with us. My husband and I regularly state how glad we are that we made this investment in our family. We now have a clear way of communicating with Toby, and he knows he can trust us to take the lead. On walks it is a NIGHT AND DAY difference! I feel completely comfortable taking him with the baby now because I am using all the tools and strategies Jess taught us. He has a very strong place command now, stops doing things if we tell him to, and actually enters rooms he was too afraid of before! There have been so many unforeseen benefits of his training, including him being more affectionate with us and other people he trusts. He also wants to play more now and is no longer on anxiety medication. My in-laws described it as "he seems peaceful now." Overall he is a much happier and healthier dog. I could go on and on about how this company and its staff changed our lives. It's definitely worth the investment and we are so glad we did a board and train with Flash Dog!

We could not be more pleased by our experience with Flash Dog Training! After bringing home our first puppy, my partner and I quickly realized we had very little idea what we were doing. Flash Dog Training’s sleep away puppy camp was a life saver. Our pup received a super solid foundation in basic training that we were then taught how to maintain. She was also socialized with other pups and dogs and got some good experience with basic life stuff like bathing and nail trimming. Her time away also gave us plenty of time to regroup, get some things done around the house and even take a weekend trip away. We are so grateful for this support and I know our pup is all the better off for it. It was also super helpful to get a private follow up lesson a week later, and it’s just good to know there’s such good help around for when we might need it in the future. Thanks so much!
