Ray is an amazing trainer. He trains the owners as much as the dog. He wants you to know & understand why he is doing what he is doing & how important it is for you- the owner to follow his lead to have success for you & your pet. We “inherited “ a dog that had no training and knew only a few people. Ray helped us to know how to keep her & guests in our house comfortable because she is a very anxious dog. His interest is helping you & your dog to have a comfortable life together. So happy we were referred to him.

Words can’t express how happy and relieved we are as a family to have found Ray and Thaloa from Follow My Lead for our Roxie Gurl!! We were given their information from a friend last year who had a great experience as well! When we rescued Roxie as a 5 month old Cunucu puppy from Aruba we had no idea what we were taking on. She was a very timid, anxious puppy with tons of energy and no self control! She also suffered from severe separation anxiety, to the point where she was able to pry open the bars of her crate and escape. As a busy family we tried to take her where we could but when it wasn’t allowed she would have to be crated which she hated. She would howl and pry at the bars. We tried a doggie daycare to avoid crating her too much and for socialization but she was “kindly asked to leave” she couldn’t control herself with other dogs. What was supposed to be a great experience for our family was turning out to be a nightmare!!! We immediately called Follow My Lead and we signed Roxie up for the Two week board and training program and I can honestly say it was the best decision we ever made! Life with Roxie now is so much more enjoyable. She is so much more controlled of her own behaviors and a joy to be around. Crating her is so easy now, no howling or trying to escape. She continues to see Ray and Thaloa for some over nights and their PAC And Train Programs, We would seriously be lost without Ray and Thaloa!! 🥰🥰. We can’t thank you both enough!!!🥰🥰

I found Follow my lead training through Instagram. And I’m happy I did! I live in the Northshore and it was worth the drive. Even from the first phone call Ray offered a great amount of knowledge. My dog (Sumo) was with Ray for the 2 week board and train. Within the first time visiting, I saw a huge change and progression in Sumo’s behavior. Sumo needed help with basic obedience and a few behavioral issues. Ray and Thaola were both great with Sumo. I love that they incorporate 1 on 1 sessions. The knowledge they give really makes a huge difference. I swear sumo wanted to stay when it was time to come bring him home, he loved it as well. Sumo has been great at home. We will continue to join the group sessions and keep sumo training. Any dog issue I recommend giving them a call.

We cannot say enough about Ray and Thaloa and their expertise, patience, and dedication to their clients – both dogs and people! We have had the pleasure of working with Ray since May of 2020 when Mowgli (pitbull mix) was a few months old. From our first session, Ray got to know our family and the type of environment we wanted to create with Mowgli. He answered all our questions (and there were a lot), and has continued to be available for texts, emails and everything else since day 1! We have done private lessions, group lessions, board and train, and now we are active with Pack and Train. Mowgli has continued to advance from initial obedience training to off leash work. His behavior and our confidence is a true testament of Ray and Thaloa’s work. We are forever grateful for Ray and Thaloa!
