Follow My Lead Dog Training

I grew up with Doberman Pinchers and I know how smart they are but I also know they are stereotyped to be an aggressive and scary breed. So once I knew Prince was coming home I reached out to Ray and he started to provide training sessions with Prince and I via social media such as IG videos and SC as Prince was too young and not vaccinated. Once Prince was able out and about he worked around my work schedule providing short training sessions between clients and my work breaks. He even went to Prince's daycare provider and did some sessions with him. Prince is now almost 2 years old and I relieve so many compliments on how well trained he is..Its a compliment to Ray and his knowledge of specific breeds and what will work. I cannot say enough about Follow My Lead! Ray LITERALLY saved my dog!! My family and I adopted our dog Juno through a rescue. We didn’t realize he had some aggressive behaviors. I absolutely dreaded taking him on walks. His behavior and anxiety were so overwhelming that I was afraid we were going to have to give him up. But then we found Follow My Lead! Juno spent a few weeks with Ray and he is now a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT DOG!! He listens to commands, he is more relaxed, he behaves around other dogs and new people. HE ACTUALLY LOOKS HAPPY!! Was it worth it?? WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY!!

Getting our dog Gus trained at Follow My Lead was the best decision we have made for our pup! Gus is a little over 1 year old and did five weeks of the board and train program. Before starting the program, Gus had a lot of issues. He struggled with separation anxiety. He used to follow us around the house everywhere we went, and would get increasingly anxious when we would get ready to leave. It got to a point where we could not leave him alone. He also had issues with leash reactivity. He would bark and lunge at all other dogs when we took him for walks. He also barked at children and some adults. Gus was always the one leading us on walks, constantly pulling on the leash. Honestly, we dreaded taking him for walks everyday. After the board and train program, Gus is like a new dog! He walks in a heel whenever we take him for a walk. We now know how to look for signs when Gus is anxious, especially when he sees some of his triggers like dogs and kids. Ray and Thaloa have taught us what to do to help prevent those triggering moments, and how to handle Gus so that he trusts us to lead him into positive and safe experiences. We now look forward to taking Gus for walks everyday! At home, Gus no longer follows us around and gets himself worked up. He stays on place and waits for our command. He is much more relaxed now that we make the decisions for him. We are so grateful for everything Ray and Thaloa have done for us, and continue to do for us!
