Follow My Lead Dog Training

My husband and I got a goldendoodle puppy in August. She was an adorable but typical puppy - thought she was the boss, very nippy, etc. We booked 5 at home visits with Ray and he was fabulous. Ray gave us the tools and knowledge to deal with this addition to our household. We also brought Lexi to 5 dog training classes outdoors with other dogs. Our puppy is now 6 months old and she is doing great. We highly recommend Ray. He always got back to us with our questions and is very professional. It’s clear that he loves dogs and training them!

OMG I can’t say enough great things about Ray and his training of my labradoodle Lola! Lola went to the 2.5 week session cause I didn’t think that would be enough time to train my dog, she had too many things to learn in such little time I thought. I would be satisfied if Ray trained Lola to walk by my side without acting crazy when cars passed and people walked by. When Lola went to Ray I sent a long list of things I needed her to change hoping he would fix one of them. Lola has been home now over a week and she is a new/different dog. During her training with Ray me and my kids went to him for a few training sessions to show us what she learned and how to keep up with the good habits. Ray is very professional and patient. I truly appreciate his skills and would definitely recommend him to others. Now Lola walks by my side during walks and has not tried to chase a car or bark at people so our walks are enjoyable. Ray taught me the commands that we live by with Lola. PLACE, DOWN , HEAL, SIT, BREAK...PLACE is my favorite- now I can sit on my living room couch and tell Lola to PLACE on her pillow and she will go to her spot and stay, which she never did! Lola is a beautiful dog but before training with Ray we couldn’t enjoy her. THANK YOU RAY! You are the BEST!!

Ray was absolutely amazing and we highly recommend him! We adopted a lab earlier in the year who had an affinity for chasing animals and running away and also pulled relentlessly during walks. Ray was great in communicating his plan for our dog and went right to work upon drop-off. He had us come by twice during the week and a half to do some preliminary training with our dog and discuss his progress. We picked up up our dog with the same great personality but on a whole new level of obedience. He listens to our commands and has curbed his need to chase animals. Ray then stopped by a month later to check in on his progress and make sure we were doing our "homework" with our pup.

Ray is incredible! Originally, I took my blue nose pitbull to PetSmart training for puppy lessons, which was a FAIL and waste of money. The woman even suggested I neuter my puppy to help with his hypertension, FAIL waste of money and now he can’t make babies 🥺 I wish I knew about Ray’s Follow My Lead Dog Training from the beginning, it was worth every penny. My dog has done a 360, he was definition of CRAZY. I couldn’t control him at all. He would jump on people because he was so excited. He had two attempts attacking another dog. He would bark at people and just being in the cage. It was horrible I was thinking about giving him away. Ray has provided me with peace, allowing my dog to attend Ray’s on board training lessons was truly a blessing for me and my family. I would recommend anyone and everyone to this program. Not only do you get results you learn what you need to do at home to keep your pup remaining with obedience and discipline. My dog can now be around other people without me feeling like he is going to attack them. He will go to his cage without barking and it doesn’t feel like it’s a punishment anymore. I can have him off leash feeling confident he will come back and not run off. I can go on and on, EXCELLENT results! Ray takes his time in getting to know the dog to find it’s breaking point and tackles it. He would also sends videos of the sessions showing the progress of how your dog is doing. He is such a friendly and caring individual you can see the love that he has for his work in dogs, it’s not a job for him it’s a passion that he enjoys doing and does a fantastic job doing it!
