We feel fortunate that we found Ray via a friend's referral. Otherwise, we were somewhat struggling with our seven-month-old German Shepherd in the midst of a pandemic. What was remarkable about Ray was his empathic approach towards our dog as well as us. He guided us to understand our dog and make appropriate adjustments to address her needs. Moreover, Ray truly helped us in integrating our dog as a member of our family by empowering us with the correct set of tools and strategies. Ray's board-and-train program made a huge difference for our dog and for us. Prior to sending her to Ray's our dog was exhibiting all the Shepherd-like insecurities that needed to be addressed such as being shy of people and other dogs and exhibiting extreme aggression towards them. She was also being excessively mouthy and was becoming difficult for us to leave our children on their own with her. When she returned home after spending time with Ray she was a changed person. Ray made her more confident, social and compliant. Now our nine and seven-year-olds can walk and train our dog on a daily basis without a problem. What was fantastic about Ray's approach was that, he treaded a fine line in making our dog more compliant (to commands) while boosting her self-confidence. That was not really a very easy task given that any mistake on his part could have easily pushed our dog too far in one direction. He has inculcated a keen understanding of "place" in our dog's daily behavior while making her more comfortable in her skin. If you are looking for a trainer to transform your dog from being "good" to "wonderful" and you from "caring" to a "champion" dog-parent then, look no further.

I got a puppy for me and the family a 4 month old American bully Missy Elliot I started trying to work on obedience right away but I was getting no where she would run in the street pull on her walks I couldn’t get her to lay down so I reached out to ray and instantly first visit he figured out a plan now missy Elliot walks right by my side loose leash comes when called sit when’s called he got her to lay and even stay ray really change the dog owning experience for the better I would recommend ray to anyone with a dog even if you’re not having problems with your dog ray can make your dog a perfect pet

My wife and I can’t recommend Ray enough! We have a 5 year old mix breed dog, Bowie, that we adopted when he was around 6 months old. He was found on the street, very nervous, and very scared of most things in the environment - loud noises, strangers, children. As he became a little more confident, he also became VERY attached to my wife and I and became more reactive. He was very excitable in our home, jumping, and needing to be with us 24/7. Outside our home, he was unpredictable. He’d work himself up whining and crying, couldn’t be let off leash, and would bark and react to anything that made him anxious in the street. We’ve tried different training methods and programs but didn’t have the success we were looking for. Bowie spent 3 weeks with Ray doing a board and train program and he seems like a totally different dog! The amount of progress he has made in a short time is remarkable, especially given the fact that he’s 5 years old and he’s used to certain behaviors. We’ve had Bowie home for about 24 hours. It is so clear that he truly understands what is expected of him. Even in the moments when he breaks in something we’ve asked him to do, a quick and quiet reminder is all he needs. Ray clearly set such a strong foundation in a short time and gave us the tools to confidently continue to work with him. From the moment we met Ray, we felt really comfortable and totally confident - it’s clear he really cares and takes the time to get to know each dog, what is needed, and what approach is best. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. We appreciated in particular how communicative Ray was, sending photos and videos of Bowie’s progress. We’re so excited to see how far Bowie has come and will continue to go!

We contacted Ray about our 6 month old rescue pup who was resource guarding and had lunged at my daughter over a toy. Ray worked with us as a family in our home. He taught us a TON about our pup's mindset and about the leadership he needed. We followed through with Ray's homework and techniques. We couldn't be happier with the results!
