Follow the Leader K9 offers dog training for dogs of all breeds and temperaments. We specialize in creating a unique training approach for every dog and owner that we work with. In addition to individual training sessions, we offer day and overnight training programs, all on our half acre training facility. We have two mottos: “If we love them, lead them", and, "We don't blame them, we train them".

This overnight training camp will give your dog 24 hrs of complete immersion from Monday through Friday. Every day they will take part in our day training camp, and every night they will be sleeping in the home of our master trainer. An end of week "go home session" is included. Your dog will come to learn and play with us from 8:30AM-5:30PM Monday through Friday. Every day they will be learning from our Master Trainer and his amazing mentor dogs. Eric helped us with both our dogs, who couldn't be more different from each other. Sunny is a 6lb chihuahua that thinks she's a 100lb pit bull. She was (key word 'was') dog reactive and we tried several other trainers in the area and nothing seemed to be working. Eric and his crew worked their magic with her and with us! We can actually go on walks! Our other dog Scout is a puppy and came to us scared of everything and wouldn't let us put a leash on her. She's still a very shy pup but she actually enjoys her walks now and is starting to thrive! We appreciate Eric and his crew and we still drop off the dogs a few times a month to keep up some training and for daycare.

Eric put a prong collar on my 6 month old Doberman who exhibited no behavioral issues and held my dog up in the air to where her front feet were off the ground while he stood behind her. Eric put that Doberman into his van and utilized the ecollar at increasing numbers while she spun in circles and cried. Eric’s late Akita caused puncture and tearing wounds to my senior terrier requiring emergency vet care. He then asked me to write a review so that I could offset negative reviews that he had received. The maltreatment of my Doberman took place on his locked property. The bite to my terrier took place on public property while my dog was leashes and his was off leash. Following the bite he said to me “I knew she had one more bite in her.”

I gave my 4month old Bernese Mountain Dog to Eric for two weeks overnight with much trepidation and it was the best experience for me and my dog. She was completely crate trained, socialized, trained to wait at all doorways, learned so many commands and came back to me the same happy, easygoing dog that I dropped off. After that, she went daily with Eric for another 3 weeks and learned “come” “place” (without the aide of a lead), and he addressed any issue I would have, no matter how remote or unconventional. Tessa has been back many times to play for the day and always goes happily. The team at Follow the Leader has been so great, I wish everyone could run their business with such professionalism, passion and dedication
