Follow the Leader K9 offers dog training for dogs of all breeds and temperaments. We specialize in creating a unique training approach for every dog and owner that we work with. In addition to individual training sessions, we offer day and overnight training programs, all on our half acre training facility. We have two mottos: “If we love them, lead them", and, "We don't blame them, we train them".

This overnight training camp will give your dog 24 hrs of complete immersion from Monday through Friday. Every day they will take part in our day training camp, and every night they will be sleeping in the home of our master trainer. An end of week "go home session" is included. Your dog will come to learn and play with us from 8:30AM-5:30PM Monday through Friday. Every day they will be learning from our Master Trainer and his amazing mentor dogs. Eric and his team are nothing short of exceptional. Eric did a great job identifying the reasons behind my dogs behavior. He explained to us what was happening, why, and how to address it. As our dog progressed through his program he developed a new sense of pride and was eager to continue training once we got home. Eric gave us the technics and tools to take our dog from being unpredictable in stressful situations to fully trusting him off leash at the beach. We are so grateful to Eric and his wonderful team for their hard work and recommend Follow the Leader K9 to anyone looking to build a lifelong bond with their dog. We’ve worked with Eric twice. First for a one week puppy board and train, then again 2 years later for a 3 week day camp.

I had such a wonderful experience with Eric and the Follow The Leader K9 team. My four year old pit mix is so much happier since I took him to a four week play and train program. I literally could not take him anywhere as he was reactive to other dogs. Car rides and walks were very challenging as he would constantly bark and lunge at other dogs. I had spent considerable time and money trying to correct these behaviors but was having almost zero success. Thankfully, Eric was recommended to me and I’m so grateful I took Brady to him. The team identified how play driven Brady is and used that to create a program for him. Four weeks later and I’m walking Brady off-leash without any reactivity! I can finally take my dog anywhere and be confident he knows how to handle the situation. Thanks Eric, Katia and Jeff!

If I could give Eric and his team 10 stars I would! After Scouts first training program didn’t meet our needs Follow the Leader K9 was recommend to us. I cannot thank them enough!! After a few in home sessions to cover some basics and get Scouts food motivation up we decided to join the day training program for two weeks. I walked away each day feeling like I had just left a therapy session, thanks to Eric and his team I felt so supported and validated in my struggles with my dog. Eric really took the time to understand Scout and her unique personality and create a program that was specific to her. His training has helped both Scout and me overcome our anxiety and live a better life together!
