Fraternity K9

My review is WAY overdue, but I can say that it shows the work Donald does is LASTING. We requested Donald’s services a little over a year ago for our “mini” bernedoodle. She was adopted from a rescue and it was a really rough start. She completely tore up our sofa covers, chewed through our dining chairs, was very aggressive and possessive when it came to things she snatched up, walks were almost impossible and we were actually worried about the safety of our children at one point. (There were even more issues, but I’m giving a quick rundown lol.) We reached out to Donald based on an ad I saw through Instagram. We’re in Brooklyn and I saw that he services Queens and Long Island so I was skeptical that he would come to Brooklyn, but I decided to try and after our consultation, he was willing to work with us. He was a godsend. He was very down to earth, had a lot of patience, was very thorough in explaining a lot of things and very thorough with the training. On top of that, he gives you tools and advice that work and will last as long as you use them. Fast forward to now, our furniture is INTACT, she is completely crate trained, potty trained, listens to cues like sit and stay, adjusted to our schedule and doesn’t have separation anxiety when left alone and can relax independently. We still need to work on things like politely greeting without jumping on people and barking at other dogs. That is because we haven’t focused and practiced on these things as much as we should have. Like I mentioned before, Donald gives you ALL of the tools, and tips, but progress doesn’t come from hoping, it comes from consistent action. Another thing, we have used Donald’s services for boarding for a week, and it was also a great experience. If we had to go back to Donald for additional help, we would do so without hesitation. And if you are looking for a dedicated, consistent, knowledgeable trainer then this is the person you need to contact!

Let me start off by saying Donald is an amazing dog trainer with vast experience in the field.I don't really write many reviews for anything but I had to after the results. I felt like I was losing control of my Boxer discipline wise. Pulling on the leash too much for my liking, barking too much at other dogs in the street and house guests along with other issues. Donald took my dog with him and used his techniques to transform my dog and put ME back in control. I can tell all love was used to change my dog but in a stern way if that makes sense lol. Super happy with the results and would highly recommend to any friends with dogs that are in need of training.

My experience with Fraternity K9 is amazing. He came to my home and witness what was needed to address with my dogs behavior, bad habits & anything we needed help specifically with. He fixed all the issues we had with our dog and gave her back to us with a complete 360 change. He provided us with the knowledge we needed to continue the training he started and also gave us tips on what we needed to become better owners as well which was very appreciated. I definitely recommend Fraternity K9 to anyone who is looking for dog training. We are absolutely returning for other services they prove as well.

I had recently acquired a half pit and husky mix. While shopping at home goods I actually ran into home goods when my dog boozy started barking at other shoppers. It was sure to say I was embarrassed. He peeped into the aisle and said something along the matter of WHAT TYPE OF BREED!!! Is that dog. I told him expressed the frustrations I was having 3 months later after I joined the fraternity k-9 program I couldn't have been more relieved the money was worth it and now my buddy here is well mannered thanks to the owner of this establishment his name is Donald forgive me for not remembering his last name but work ethics is extremely impressive!
