Fraternity K9

When I was looking into trainers I was very nervous and skeptical of everyone. I spoke to various trainers on the phone. When I found fraternity k9, I researched and requested a phone consultation. I explained to Donald that my Pitbull puppy was out of control; biting, jumping, body slamming, dragging me on our walks, humping (despite being fixed), it was a lot! As a first time Pitbull owner & someone that’s wanted this breed for 10 years, I explained to Donald that clearly whatever I was doing wasn’t working and I did not plan on giving up on this/allowing this to continue. I want to train my dog to respect me not fear me. Donald listened and explained the process to me. He also made me feel better about the training process when he explained that he too, prefers to train the owners with the dog (rather than board and train if avoidable.) Donald came over for the first in home consult and was extremely observant and polite while telling me what I needed to hear. Over the course of our training, my dog has made AMAZING progress! I have such a better relationship with him thankfully to Donald’s training! My dog respects me now, he learned a lot of obedience. Donald made things so clear and consistent! He was so right about putting in the effort and work now and enjoying it later. Yes, it was work and a lot of repetition. But it was and has all been so worth it. I would highly recommend Donald to anyone and everyone I possibly can. He has taught me so much and helped me build such a better understanding and relationship with my dog. I am so grateful that I found Fraternity K9!

First I had a consultation visit with Donald to discuss my German Sheppard and Boxer dogs behaviors which consisted of them jumping on people as they entered my home, looking to dodge out the front door and yard gate when opened, being in the way at times, reactive, pulling me and barking when walking them which was very stressful and not enjoyable to do. During that time I was recommended a 9 week program for them. Throughout the 9+ weeks of training with Donald I was taught to teach them skills and commands via video and in person that my dogs were capable of learning and will continue to build on through repetition. Donald's knowledge, expertise and patience has shown me that if you SLOW THINGS DOWN with the dogs it makes it a lot easier to correct their behaviors and more enjoyable to walk them. Donald and the trainers at Fraternity K9 are AMAZING!! They took my two crazy puppies and returned them new dogs. I had trouble with my puppy chewing up walls, barking excessively, jumping on people, and so much more and he was able to train him to be a much more calm and obedient dog. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results! 10/10 highly recommend you use fraternity K9 for all your training needs, these guys are THE BEST!!
