Freedom K9

As a first time dog owner, my pooch was controlling me vs the other way around. I made the mistake of not leaving the puppy alone much and he developed separation anxiety, would bark when I left, pulled me vs me walking him and recall was an issue and scary. I knew we needed serious training. I enrolled in the 3 day program where Kindle taught me how to reinforce good behavior. I love that she said, 'we are going to stop this nonsense'. Kindle teaches you the skills you need to have a better behaved fur baby. You have to go home and reinforce and practice, practice, practice. If your dog is not well behaved, its our fault! I was very satisfied with Kindle's training and recommend her to everyone I meet with a new puppy. I find a bark collar and the ecollar insanely effective.

Their patience, knowledge and dedication made all the difference. They took the time to understand his unique needs and gave him the structure and confidence he needed. I am forever grateful for the training my puppy received. I lost my faithful companion and made an emotional decision to get a new puppy. I went from going on peaceful enjoyable walks with my old dog to being afraid to walk my new puppy. I could not control him at all. Being 73, I was afraid that he would knock me down and I would break something. All my experience training a puppy did not work. I was facing having to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome him. Freedom K9 was my last resort. Peaty went for three weeks of board and train. I was so overwhelmed when I went to get him. He was so incredibly well behaved. I am thankful everyday for my loving crazy companion that I can take anywhere and am confident that he knows how to behave. Also every Friday there is a pack walk that they sponsor. The wonderful staff gives pointers on any behaviors that might be spilling. Not enough words to express my gratitude to this spectacular company.

We took our 8 month old lab here who struggled with house manners and lacked self-control. We were hesitant with sending our dog to a board and train, however this was the absolute best place for our family after looking into Freedom K9. My other half had to drop our dog off alone and she struggled with the idea of leaving her for 3 full weeks. Ira was the best person to be at the counter welcoming her that day. She was so kind and made sure she understood everything. She was who made both of us more confident in the process. We felt informed and included on everything. They provided us with very detailed texts and videos throughout. We received results of an allergy test for our dog while she was there and we were on vacation. They immediately were willing to go get our dog new food without anything she was allergic to. Ira was by far the most trustworthy and the best person for our dog, Sadie. She was super informative, answered so many questions, and really made us feel comfortable. During our pickup appointment, Ira spent extra time with us making sure we were very comfortable with everything shown to us. The biggest thing here is that we truly felt like they cared for our dog. It wasn’t just a “training factory”. These people truly care for animals and love their job. I appreciated the information regarding everything from grooming and nutrition to training and lifelong success. Our daily lives are so much easier and Sadie can enjoy so many new places and experiences with us. I have already recommended Freedom K9 to so many friends and family. Any future dogs we get will for sure be attending Freedom K9!
