Freedom K9

I have had 2 dogs go through the Board and Train Program at Freedom K9 in Siskiyou County. The transformation in both dogs was amazing. First was Cora, a 1.5 year old shepherd mix rescue. Next up was Sid a 3 year old golden doodle, who had some basic obedience but was anxious, low confidence, scared of anything unfamiliar --loud noises especially, came when he felt like it, not crate trained, etc. He ended up running away from home one day. It was scary for both of us. After his Board and train, he is now crate trained, doesn't get on furniture, can relax when put on place or in crate, and comes when called. This is all thanks to the time spent at his Board and train. AND the support you get for life is amazing. I had some issues with my crate set up after bringing him home. I reached out and they immediately came up with a game plan and let me borrow some equipment while I ordered what I needed to have at home. Highly recommend them for your training needs. There is a team of trainers and they are all excellent!!

We had a great experience with Freedom K9! Biscuit came home after their board-and-train program with an excellent foundation, comfortable in his crate, confident, and already familiar with basic routines. The transition into our home was much smoother because of the work they put in. The team was knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely cared about setting both us and Biscuit up for success. We’re grateful for the strong start they gave him and highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality puppy training.

I was pretty confident bringing my 6 month old puppy to Kindle after speaking to her over the phone at length. Even more so after meeting the wonderful knowledgeable friendly staff. I booked an extended training session because my dog arrived sick from the breeder and was behind. When i came to pick him up he not only had learned a great deal but looked great, was happy and our extended training session to train me was first rate. Im definitely coming back for boarding, additional training and wholeheartedly recommend Freedom K9 to those in need of boarding, training or a combination. Our dogs safety and happiness matter and my dog is much improved. peace of mind too and having a well behaved dog from the onset is money well spent. The follow up and communication post training have been another bonus. Your dog is more than just income to Freedom K9.

Very pleased with Freedom K9! It really felt like what they do isn't just a job but also a passion. They did a wonderful job addressing and implementing what skills and behaviors I was hoping to find in my pup. Wilson came back to me as a well rounded and dare I say, a sophisticated gentleman. Our follow up meeting went wonderfully well. I deeply appreciate the tips for further refinement and progression. Wilson is well on his way! Deeply considering a return visit to pursue a service dog training!
