Freedom K9

We want to thank Freedom K9 for how good they were with Rocko. We are in the process of moving to North Carolina. We plan on traveling there in an RV, so we brought in Rocko for the Liberty Day Taining. We expected some basic obedience training but our primary goal was to have him off-leash trained. We got what we wanted and so much more. Jennifer was able to quickly identify some potentialy dangerous guarding behavior and we were able to work together to correct this behavior. Their service doesn't stop when you leave. They have been an invaluable source of information whenever I run into any issues at home. Now our family is ready for our adventure and we can leave feeling confident in all of our safety. I cant send enough thanks to Kindle and Jennifer and the whole team. You guys are the best. We are proud to recommend and praise Freedom K9. We are so lucky to have one of the best K9 trainers in our midst. The Founder and Head Trainer, Kindle Aseltine, is down to earth, a no-non-sense, and a very informative trainer. She provides hands on training along with her dedicated and devoted staff, Melissa, Jeniffer and Ira. We enrolled our Yellow Lab Samson for a three-week program where he earned three AKC certifications: Canine Good Citizen; Community Canine and Urban Canine. We subsequently enrolled Samson for his Service Dog Training to assist with Mobility Tasks. He has shined everywhere we take him and have received complements on how well he behaves, not to mention how beautiful he is! During his boarding and training sessions, we received nightly updates with photos and/or videos documenting his training and progress. We loved receiving these updates as it reassured us that our puppy was taken care of. For the holidays, we received beautiful pictures of Samson highlighting the Thanksgiving and pre-Christmas Seasons. The best thing is that we now have a reliable source for anything K9 related information such as legal rights, nutrition and vet care. We continue to build on his skills on a daily basis by practicing the lessons learned at Freedom K9. Samson’s success relies on our consistent and daily practice. In addition, we have an opportunity to continue building on Samson’s skills on a weekly basis during the complementary Pack Walk sessions hosted by Kindle and her staff. We are grateful to the Freedom K9 team for the positive results that we've seen in our 8 month chocolate lab, Bodie, while he participated in the Freedom Board and Train Program. Bodie had the typical puppy behavior challenges and specific goals that we wanted to be addressed during his three week board and train stay. We were also wanting a good foundation in obedience commands that would give him a jump start for his future hunting adventures. From the initial consultation for the Freedom K9 Puppy Program to the pick up session after the Freedom K9 Board and Train Program, we felt secure knowing Bodie was safe, cared for, and receiving an effective training experience. This was the first time that I had a dog participate in a training program. I loved the way that it was organized and appreciated the daily updates. Went through puppy training as the freedom board and train where they had my dog for apollo for 3 weeks and trained him on and off leash. Kindle and her team are AMAZING!!! They really made it personalized to Apollos needs in terms of getting him more confidence in large population situations and patience. They also really listened to what I had to say to modify his behavior to our individual house hold needs. They kept me updated almost daily with videos or pictures of his progress which was so incredible. Could not have asked for a better experience ❤️

We love this place! We have sent two different dogs to board and train with them. We brought our Boston terrier who needed support with reactivity, high energy and separation anxiety. We then brought our Great Dane Dalmatian who needed support with destruction, stubbornness and crate training. They truly turned our dogs into such well behaved dogs without losing the personality of the dog. Throughout the entire process, K9 is very communicative and helpful. When the process is over, they continue to support and check in on you and your animals. I highly recommend sending your dogs here. We come from Sacramento because we are so happy with everyone here.
