Freedom Paws Service Dogs Foundation

People always say your first impression will be your last impression. Freedom Paws Service Dogs Foundation made an outstanding first impression on my wife, Annette, and me. The staff and trainers made us feel welcome and comfortable. Over the weekend, the staff trained with us and introduced us to other handlers and Dani’s sponsor. My meet-and-greet with Dani, the service dog in training, was exceptional and a great first experience. It felt like we were two peas in a pod. Dani and I will be paired once she graduates in January 2026. While I was there in June, we trained for four days with the Freedom Paws Foundation staff and volunteers. Dani will be my second service dog. My first service dog, Bella, passed away two years ago. We were in the Army together for three years, and I got to keep Bella when I retired from the Army. I am now ready for a new best friend who will be able to assist me with my disabilities and make life so much better. Dani picked me!!! “Never Walk Alone”.

I cannot say enough about Freedom Paws Service Dogs. From the application process to being paired with a puppy, to making several trips to train and work with the puppy/dog. The professionalism, knowledge and friendliness of all the puppy raisers, volunteers, perm staff etc… this organization is top notch and cannot be beaten. I am thankful for being matched with a service dog. I could not have been pair with a better service dog. She is amazing! Forever thankful and grateful! Thank you, Danny
