Fun Paw Care Dog Training

I sent my 4.5 year old corgi to dog boot camp for one week to work on his leash aggression, resource guarding, and a few other issues. After spending one or two days with my dog, Russ assessed that he had anxiety disorder, which was the root of many of his issues. He started training my dog on graduated departures, and de-escalated departures and arrivals, which I have to continue implementing as well. Russ provided extensive reports, links and videos, which I can refer back to, and was available to answer questions even weeks after the boot camp. Russ has a very calm demeanor, and I could tell that my little boy had a great time with him.

My rambunctious 10 month old English bulldog spent a month with who we now call, Uncle Russ. I signed Grandpaw up for Russ’s doggy boot camp not really knowing what we were getting into, a I knew is I didn’t want someone using E-collars or prong collars on my baby. Russel is ABA based with his training, purely one on one for the best results. First I loved Russ because he absolutely hates e collars and prong collars. Then, as Grandpaws stay continued and I received loads of videos and pictures I couldn’t believe my eyes. Grandpaw struggles with isolation distress and Russel taught him independence, he’s been home for 2 days now and I can’t believe this is my dog. I couldn’t recommend a trainer more, he has so much knowledge about his field and shows so much love and compassion to your baby(s). As I said, Russ has now turned into Uncle Russ and I can’t wait to continue with at home private trainings!

Russ is an experienced dog behaviorist who documented everything he was teaching my pup, provided guidance to me on how to maintain the progress he made with my pup, and is always available to answer questions. I utilized Fun Paw Care because my pup was struggling with potty training and had general anxiety/separation anxiety. Fun Paw Care provided a detailed individual assessment of each of my pup's behavioral issues, along with instructions on how to continue modifying his behavior. When I got my pup back from Russ, he was so calm and immediately listened to all of the commands that Russ suggested I use. Russ also provided guidance on the best foods and methods for training. I cannot speak highly enough of Fun Paw Care and am extremely grateful that my pup got to train with an experienced dog behaviorist!
