Fun Paw Care trains dogs all for specific tasks to mitigate a plethora of disabilities. Russ is an intelligent, dedicated and caring dog trainer. He helps come up with a strategic and forward thinking plan to fully improve your little family members life. Without his help, we never would’ve known our year old pittie had such bad anxiety let alone how to navigate it.
We left our 1 year old Bull Terrier, Marlo, with Russ for a 6 night boot camp and not only did she love it, but she came back with much improved behaviour! Russ is so good at communicating his methods and training techniques and really goes above and beyond to equip the pet owners with the tools they need to carry on the training after the boot camp. The sessions and work he did with Marlo was totally bespoke and we didn't get a 'one size fits all' feeling from Russ at all. We could not recommend Russ highly enough!

Russ is wonderful - extremely responsive, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. I wanted a Los Angeles based, accredited behaviorist to a) help manage and improve my dog's separation anxiety b) clarify the information and obedience training I'd already received/done and c) prepare me and my dog for the goal of eventually becoming a therapy dog team. We walked away from our first session with a boatload of tips, information, and exercises to practice that I'm confident have already started improving my communication with my dog and will help him live a more fulfilled, independent life.

Fun Paw Care is such an amazing place to go for dog training in Los Angeles. Russ's knowledge as a behaviorist really gave me the tools to help me be my best "dog trainer". My dog is a rescue and deals with fear/anxiety and aggression towards men. It became a serious problem and after trying so many different training approaches, I just felt dejected. I did an online consultation and Russ made me feel empowered and knowledgeable on the different techniques he consulted me on. I learned how much the little things everyday can make a difference, and I also learned exercises I could do on walks or in stressful situations with my dog to help his reactivity. I feel like I'm already seeing more trust and confidence in my dog and I am just at the beginning! Russ was encouraging, provided so many resources, and also gave some amazing product recommendations to help increase a calm demeanor in my dog.
