About FurEver Home Dog Training
FurEver Home Dog Training helps dogs, puppies and rescues overcome behavior challenges through calm leadership, connection, and understanding. Created by professional dog trainer Jodi Little, The CALM DOG Connection teaches owners how to build trust, reduce stress, and create lasting behavior change without relying on correction-based methods. We help with separation anxiety, leash pulling, excessive barking, jumping, destructive behaviors, reactivity and aggression-related behaviors, fear, resource guarding, rescue dog and puppy mill transitions, potty training, and more. Local private lessons are available in Fort Collins, Colorado, and virtual training is available nationwide. Our mission is helping more dogs stay in their FurEver Homes.

Jodi was very knowledgeable about training our scared rescue girl! She gave us many ideas (several were the opposite of what we would normally have done) that have helped us to relax her nervous system, and she has become more and more able to open up. We had the opportunity to meet Jodie a few months ago while researching for a fur baby. She is an experienced dog trainer by trade and provided us with great advice, which led us to sign up for a few more training sessions with her. Jodie specializes in rehabbing shy, timid, behavioral issue dogs of all sizes. She explained the behavior of shy and timid dogs in detail and how to approach them without scaring them off further. Her Triangle Method was super helpful to us. Jodie went above and beyond to ensure that we were sellting in with the newest member of our family. Additionally, she is always available to answer any concerns or stupid questions we had and provided us with great guidance. It was amazing watching her train dogs first-hand and seeing a shy and timid dog transform before our eyes with just a few training sessions with her. We are very grateful for her guidance.
