About FurEver Home Dog Training
FurEver Home Dog Training helps dogs, puppies and rescues overcome behavior challenges through calm leadership, connection, and understanding. Created by professional dog trainer Jodi Little, The CALM DOG Connection teaches owners how to build trust, reduce stress, and create lasting behavior change without relying on correction-based methods. We help with separation anxiety, leash pulling, excessive barking, jumping, destructive behaviors, reactivity and aggression-related behaviors, fear, resource guarding, rescue dog and puppy mill transitions, potty training, and more. Local private lessons are available in Fort Collins, Colorado, and virtual training is available nationwide. Our mission is helping more dogs stay in their FurEver Homes.

I’ve owned dogs all my life, but Jodi gave me practical and helpful training that will significantly help in training my skittish (for now) rescue Quincy! She is amazing and I’m so grateful!

It was all good. Prior to arriving all of my concerns regarding my dog were discussed so the game plan was in place. Jodi asked me to go through my normal routine with my dog ( she has high anxiety and adrenaline) that I did while getting her out of the car. After my attempt failed Jodi went step by step on how to get my dog relaxed and in the right frame of mind so her and I could be successfull. Within 20 minutes she had my dog calm enough stop pulling on her leash and walk normally. Then one of Jodi's dogs was introduced and it was amazing. My dog did not over react and by the end of the session my dog was lying down a few feet away from a strange dog. I would highly recommend Jodi and FurEver. She is very patient with dogs but more importantly patient with me. She exhibits a calm that is immediately passed to the dog which in turn helped me out a lot. looking forward to more and a better relationship with my dog. Who, by the way is a rescue.

I booked a first meeting with Jodi Little at our house and she came, meet our dogs, assesed them and shared so many great observations as well as amazing tools to calm our anxious older dog and how to build up her confidence in general. As soon as we implemented the training we saw an immidiate change! We've booked follow up appointments at her ranch and can't wait to see how we can further approve our dogs' wellbeing and get help with leash aggresiveness and anxiety around other dogs. Jodi has an amazing understanding of dogs and how we can learn to talk their language instead of trying to bring them into our human way of living which only confuses them. I'm so happy I found Jodi and FurEver Home Dog Training!!!
Thanks for helping our shy dog find a forever home! She's quickly coming out of her shell and is ready for new adventures.
