Amazing Training Experience at Garden State K9! We recently sent our dog Roscoe to the 2-week day training program at Garden State K9, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! Our trainer Erin, was absolutely fabulous from start to finish. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and did such a great job explaining everything she was teaching Roscoe and us. In just two weeks, Roscoe went from pulling on his leash to knowing how to heel and walk like a true gentleman! Along with many other commands! We are so impressed with the progress he made, and we have nothing but praise for Erin and the entire program. Everyone at Garden State K9 was so kind, welcoming, and clearly very knowledgeable about what they do. We are beyond happy we chose this program for Roscoe and will definitely be back to take advantage of all the other amazing services they offer! We sent our 1.5yr old Golden Retriever Reece to Garden State K9’s Top Dog program because he was struggling with basic obedience, leash pulling, and recall. Being away from him for three weeks was hard but Melissa made it seamless by sending consistent daily photo and video updates on his progress. Reece came back a completely different dog. Once we got him back Melissa was super thorough during our one on one handover lesson. She made sure we fully understood all the commands and how to perform them so we could seamlessly pick up right where she left off. He’s great with on leash manners, has solid basic obedience, and we’ve built genuine trust with his off leash recall. Huge thank you to Melissa for doing such an amazing job with him! Well worth the investment. I would 100% recommend Garden State K9 and Melissa M as a trainer. They will be in great hands!

I cannot say enough about GardenState K9. The knowledge base and kindness of everyone was beyond my expectations. Arlo and I started with puppy class then a two week one on one training and we just completed 5 months of group training with Amanda and Melissa. Not only did they train Arlo they trained me as well! Best experience for both of us! I would highly recommend GardenState K9 to everyone to give you and your puppy/adult dog a great start in life together!!

Garden State K9 is truly the best. Before finding them, I had tried another trainer who came highly recommended, but my family was telling me that my dog’s behavior was actually getting worse. I was overwhelmed and honestly at the point where I thought I might have to give up my dog because of complaints from my neighbors and signs of aggression. I couldn’t even walk her without her lunging and barking at people. I was embarrassed. I found Garden State K9 by chance after overhearing a man at my vet talking about how amazing they were, and I am so grateful I did. Mike and his staff are kind, professional, and clearly know what they are doing. I saw a significant change in my Dolly after just the consultation. I honestly couldn’t believe it. Since working with GSK9, my neighbors have noticed how calm Dolly is now. She is so quiet and relaxed that some of them even thought she had surgery to remove her vocal cords. That is how big of a difference this training has made. I cannot say enough good things about Garden State K9. They helped me save my dog’s life and gave me the tools to become a happier, more confident first time dog owner. My girl is now a calm, happy pup, and I am beyond grateful. Thank you, GSK9!!!
